Next Door Films Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary Their Five Favorite Films

Next Door Films has come up on its first anniversary, and what a sexy year it has been. NDF was conceived to create films that focus on storytelling to increase anticipation and intensity for the sex to come, and create a connection between their sexy characters and their viewers.  To celebrate the occasion, NDF's Chief Creative Officer Jeremy Babcock is here to share with us his Top 5 Favorite Next Door Films features.

#5 - Just Curious

This is the film that really told us we might find an audience for this content. People got wildly engaged with the three characters —so much so that we shot a sequel (Just 2 Curious) that was released in March of 2023.  It's a fun, light-hearted story of a guy finding out his buddy likes to mess around with guys and he gets... "curious" to try some things out, himself.

#4 - Paramour

This concept was my twisted take on a love story. A story of a guy who catches his boyfriend cheating and then falls for the other guy when he attempts to show him he's not such a bad guy. Conrad Parker brought this thing to life so beautifully and Jayden and Trevor are perfectly paired in this one. I loved this film so much that I even took on the editing duties as a side project.

#3 - Welcome To the Neighborhood

What would this list be without a nod to my solo NDF directorial debut?  It may not be the best of the films, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart!  Ryder, Trevor, and Blain were so fun to work with, and the camera crew really shined on this one.  The drone and outdoor shots we got are beautiful!

#2 - That Summer

Born and raised in MT, I soooo wanted to make a Brokeback-style cowboy love story. Due to a last-minute sickness, I got to jump in and tag team this one with Conrad Parker and the result is SO good. I wasn't sure people would love or hate a cowboy film, but luckily it was love. This story is one I'm determined to continue with some future films.

#1 - Changes

Our first Next Door Films FEATURE!  What better way to celebrate a year of Next Door Films than to go HUGE!  This film continues the story from our Just Curious films and gets to take a thoughtful look into how Jayden's vacation hookup changes his life back in the real world.  The models in this film are wildly talented, and it's just a really great project.  This is peak Next Door Films — thoughtful storytelling, beautiful cinematography, sexy montages, and captivating characters that really build to the sexual payoff.  So proud of this one.
