If you watched the most recent season of The White Lotus on the artist-formerly-known-as-HBO (ugh... "Max"), then there's a REALLY good chance you fell in love with Albie Di Grasso played by absolute bae Adam DiMarco. Albie was kind, funny, sexy as hell, and prolly had a big ole D. I'm just saying. Now, it DiMarco is starring in a wonderfully Queer ad for the dating site Bumble, and Queer people everywhere have understandably flipped.
The Bumble ad leans heavily into DiMarco's "good guy" persona that he embodied so brilliantly in The White Lotus. Well, first the ad opens with him literally getting a woman's engine going and then stroking a kitten—okay, Bumble, you subtle lil slut. As the commercial progresses it just gets more and more wonderful. He buys coffee for a sexy daddy on a bench, says hi to two beautiful young women who bite their lips as he asks about one of their moms, and then he gets into "car talk" with a guy on the street, while a gorgeous man washing his car eye fucks DiMarco. All the while, DiMarco is oozing absolute charm, pure style, and a level of hotness I genuinely simply was not prepared for. I've talked in other pieces about celebs who are "husband hot"... DiMarco is the epitome of husband hot: he's holy-$hit hot, but also somehow feels attainable even if he's not. As the commercial ends, Bumble's new tagline appears on the screen: "Kindness. Now that’s sexy."

From all accounts, it seems this is close to who the actor really is: kind, charming, and obviously gorgeous. In an interview with Nylon recently, the actor expressed his disdain for narcissistic people and people who look down on others. "I’m not on TikTok too much, but I feel like there’s this trend going around about main character energy. It’s like I’m the main character and everyone else is like an NPC [Non-playable character] and that’s a self-centered way of looking at things," he said. "You don’t know what the person behind you or in front of you in line is going through, what their day is looking like. You can genuinely turn someone’s day around by the tiniest little act of kindness."

After DiMarco won over the hearts of the world on The White Lotus, the Gay Internet did their sleuth work (no one does it better than us!) and resurfaced a clip of him playing an absolutely tweaked-out demon twink at a gay bar. The clip is from 2014's Date and Switch and even as a demon twink, DiMarco is still so damn wonderful.
just realised Adam DiMarco co-starred with Nicholas Braun in the Date and Switch (2014)...

DiMarco has previously said he's straight, but as far as I'm concerned he's honorary fam. Plus something tells me he's "down to get down"—as long as you're not an asshole, that is. His sexiness aside, we need more of this energy from our celebs. I applaud Bumble for their "Kindness. Now that's sexy." campaign because quite frankly, I couldn't agree more.
