Fran Drescher Breaks Down the SAG-AFTRA Strike’s Heated First Days

We’ve been following the writers’ strike in Hollywood for a few months now. But more recently it was announced that SAG-AFTRA would be joining in the strike. Now we have dual strikes, with the actors joining forces with the writers. This has caused nearly all of Hollywood to halt production on all projects until a resolution is met. So basically these two entities are asking for better deals in regards to pay and regulations regarding the use of AI in film and television. Basically, these huge studios are trying to do scans of peoples’ faces and use their likenesses without paying them. So it’s getting rough. And many executives are not willing to budge. So this could get ugly really fast. I really hope these writers and actors get the deals they deserve sooner rather than later!

Girl, all these sensational headlines about Gigi Hadid being arrested over “drug possession” need to stop. It is not that serious. Gigi Hadid was arrested in the Cayman Islands for marijuana possession. Just for a little weed! No big deal! She didn’t even go to jail. Gigi literally paid a fine and went about her day. The weed was found in her luggage as she was boarding a private jet. Allegedly the amount was so small that it was anticipated to just be for personal use. The weed in question was also purchased legally in New York with a medical marijuana license.

In my mind, she will always be Caty from Mean Girls or that teen girl from Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen (which is such an underrated movie). The news of her pregnancy was such a shock to me.
