Hey Gurl! with Jordan Jayro: Moonshine Talks Memes, Chicken Tenders, And Drag Swaps

Hey, gurl!! It’s time for a brand new episode of my podcast, Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro! This week, I am joined by the hilarious and stunning Moonshine! She is a bearded drag queen from here in LA, and fun fact: she’s friend-of-the-pod Paradisa’s partner! So I thought it would be so fun to have them both come to back-to-back episodes! I’m so random and quirky! I feel like I’ve always known Moonshine. I literally can’t even remember how or where we met. She’s always painted and always doing something hilarious. We have no choice but to stan!

We started talking about fisting almost immediately. Moonshine told me about a time before she met Paradisa where she was going to fist someone. But it never happened. Am I the only one who wants to experience that? This is a safe space, right? We should all be able to discuss our curiosity around fisting! I’m not saying I want to be worn like a bracelet! But I would be down to be the puppeteer if you know what I’m saying! Wink-wink!

Would it be an episode of Hey Gurl if I didn’t talk about American chain restaurants? Moonshine and I discussed fried cheese, and where to get it. I love Lazy Dog’s fried cheese curds. I also mentioned how Chili’s took theirs off the menu and replaced them with mozzarella sticks. Moonshine later confessed to me that she is not a fan of Cheesecake Factory! I was shocked, shaken, and stirred! You all know how devoted I am to the Factory. I was so blindsided by this! But as a woman of class and integrity, I choose forgiveness over violence.

Most of the second half was us just talking about memes and things online that we find funny. There’s a whole bit about Australian humor. We talked about Ja’mie and Kath & Kim (which is an iconic Australian sitcom that is a very big deal and you need to check it out). We also quoted that TikTok where the girl is like “EEEMAAAH, CHLEOURRR!” I brought up the new Flash movie and how I liked it. Moonshine is not about that nerd $hit apparently. But I love all the nerd things! Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Harry Potter, I love it all.
