Reading is Fundamental Ep 6: Utah and Pornhub Breakup, Elon Musk Shows Taint, and So Much More

Welcome back, my queer family. Time flies when you're sucking d*ck, and another installment of Reading is Fundamental is out now for your listening and viewing pleasure. That's right, our legal leather daddy and the Elle Woods of Drag, Blue Bailey and Dextra DeNovo, are back in the studio and ready t dish out more juicy legal tea to keep us on the edge of our seats and out of prison. This week has been a scorcher, but not as scorching as Blue Bailey's critique on Mariah Carey's comatose performance for Pride LA. According to fisting daddy in residence, the queen of shade was unable to do three things: walk across the stage on her own, make an outfit change, and share her crown. This diva is known for her lack of giving a f*ck, but can't she just pop an edible and an iced coffee and get her sh*t together for the community that pays her electric bill? This week's mini challenge is about, you guessed it, porn. Utah passed a bill that requires age verification with ID to check out porn. This passed with a unanimous vote in the state. Basically, Utah broke up with Pornhub. Dextra gave us a breakdown of how it works on the tech side (#tldr, watch it for yourself, and take notes). A California-based trade group, the Free Speech Coalition, is suing under privacy grounds as well as going against the First and Fourteenth Amendments. Even more half-ass is that Utah has no system in effect to check the IDs that they are requiring. Tune in to get the pressure-boiling, limp-dick-inducing legal deetz. It's pretty f*cking ridiculous but then again so are most things Utah comes up with.
