How did you two meet?
T: Good old-fashioned Grindr. I can’t say I’ve had many, if any, romantic encounters through apps like Grindr. I’ve always said it’s easier to meet someone romantically while you are out being social or through friends, typically. But I don’t think we would have ever connected the way we did initially if it wasn’t for Grindr. He’s from Buffalo, NY and I’m from Toronto, Ontario. I must have had some kind of filter put on to have his profile pop up cause it’s a bit of a distance/another country. I’ve had lots of conversations over Grindr, but ours just felt different and we quickly moved it to Instagram DMs, where I think we texted back and forth for a full day straight, and then every day after that. He also told me he was planning on visiting a friend in Toronto, so the opportunity was open for us to actually meet.
P: We met at a park in Toronto at 3 in the morning! Travis had just returned from a porn shoot in Vegas and I happened to be in town visiting *cough* fucking *cough* a friend. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY and we talked on Grindr for a bit before we met in person (and yes, we didn’t fuck on the first date!). A week later was a different story. I returned a week later and we went out for some drinks and went to Steamworks. Never had a more romantic date. Haha.
Could you take us through your relationship? How long? How did you fall in love? etc.
T: We started texting in early Sept 2022 and we met a couple of weeks later when he came to Toronto… to fuck someone else! I literally had just flown back from a porn shoot in Las Vegas late that night knowing he was here. I was totally exhausted but something in my gut told me I had to at least say hi, cause something about this guy was different. We met in a park at 3 AM, talked, laughed, kissed, and that was it. Could have easily gone to a bush and had sex, but the connection we had felt different, and I think there is something to be said about not making things sexual on a first date. It added a mystery and intimacy…especially since I could tell we were both mutually attracted to each other outside of a physical attraction. He would come back to Toronto every other weekend to be with me.
P: We’ve been a couple going on almost a year (in gay terms that’s like 7 years, especially in this industry). Other than being sexually compatible we have a lot of values in common and a mutual understanding in regards to what we do for a living. It’s hard to explain, but I feel at peace with him whenever we’re together. After a few weekends in Toronto, I wanted to ask him to be my boyfriend, and we’ve been going strong ever since.

What brought you to the adult industry? For Paul, you have come to the industry somewhat later and not yet in studio work. Could you take us through where you’re at in starting in the business?
T: I feel like I started in the adult industry later than I wish I would have started, but I was living a totally different life than before. I was a professional Drag Queen for the past 15 years, doing everything live with self-written comedy. I was also in a sexually-frustrating long-term relationship for the last 7 of those years. I think the combination that sparked my getting into the industry was: a) feeling confident about how I was looking as a man outside of drag for the first time in my life; b) being repressed sexually for the last chunk of my that life and needing to explode and fuck everything; and c) Covid. I lost all my work and had to find a way to survive when Covid happened, so I started being a cam model on Chaturbate. It was the best decision I was ever forced to make, and it was through that that I was reached out to by my now agent Chris to take the next step and do studio work. I will say, starting in the adult industry during the height of Covid probably wasn’t the greatest decision. I wasn’t able to use any gym for over a year and a half, and complications of traveling for studio offers during Covid when bans were still in full effect REALLY affected my confidence. But I was 35 at a turning point in my life and frankly never thought I would be considered someone viable to make porn. It was now or never. If I could have started now when Paul is kind of getting his feet wet, would be a totally different experience in terms of knowing what to expect, confident with how I look and can perform, and knowing I can deliver the goods when needed. I’m at the best I’ve ever been currently right now, and a large part of that is from Paul.
P: Truthfully, I’ve been wanting to be in the industry for years. I specifically remember applying to BluMedia Studios in 2012. I also had OnlyFans solo content before meeting Travis, so I definitely had ambitions of wanting to do porn but never took the leap. I was a hockey player and official most of my life, so I was never comfortable with my sexuality. I’ve had a lot of repression for fear of being found out in such a masculine sport. After leaving hockey and changing careers, I came out to my close family in early 2021 and more publicly later that year. Ironically, coming out was the best thing that ever happened to me. As I became more and more comfortable with my sexuality and body, I realized those early seeds I planted and all of that time in the gym could turn into something bigger. After some time, and after meeting Travis whom I trust more than anyone, I knew I could make this work. At the start of 2023, I made the jump into adult work full-time. I created a Chaturbate account and started doing couple’s shows with Travis shortly after. Recently we’ve started branding ourselves as The CC Boys (Connor and Codi) and have been having the time of our lives with it.

How are you navigating being in a relationship while being in the adult industry? Challenges? Benefits?
T: It’s become our “normal” but we have to still acknowledge that it really is abnormal. After being happily single while starting in the industry, I never would have thought I could maintain a relationship while still being in it. The reason I think it works for both of us is that we are both on the same page about what we are looking to explore in the adult world. We came from very different backgrounds, and yet we both left the dreams that we thought we wanted for ourselves. We were both sexually repressed for years and not able to pursue our true passion which is being openly sexual performers. I think we both came to a similar conclusion about our lives at the same time and that’s really not wasting more years of our lives doing what doesn’t bring us joy, and I believe that’s what inspires us to have the drive to continue. Most importantly, we communicate everything with each other. If there’s something either of us is not comfortable with, we discuss and strive for better as we grow in this process. There are no handbooks for navigating relationships in the adult industry, but maybe we will get to writing a CC Boys handbook after a few more years!
P: Being in a relationship together comes with its challenges. Boundaries are key in our relationship. It’s great that we are open with others, while at the same time, we love each other and know that no one can get between us. It can be challenging when it comes to navigating our relationships outside our adult work. Being a newly out gay man, I still maintain contact with others who now see me as gay (especially in Buffalo). Being such a fresh couple we know that we can continue to be stronger through exclusivity until we feel comfortable with playing around with others separately. I also love having time to ourselves off cam and really cherish it, especially when we can just focus on each other in a non-performative way. It's truly all about communication and compromise.
Do you like watching your partner performing? What is that like for you?
T: Fuck yes I do! He’s currently the best “unknown” performer out there in my opinion. Paul was honestly made for everything involved in the industry and the energy and commitment he has when he’s doing his thing…makes me want to explode everywhere just thinking about it. And he does make me explode, a lot. I would add that at first I was hesitant and not sure if I would have jealous feelings pop up, and if it’s not in the right circumstance of “performative sex” (i.e. OnlyFans, studios, cam modeling) then yes it brings many different feelings out in me that I’m not totally comfortable with yet. But that’s where we can both grow as we progress in our relationship. But watching Paul show off, nothing hotter.
P: We LOVE showing off for each other and exploring our sexuality. I personally don’t feel any type of jealousy when I see Travis with other guys on screen. I know what he’s gone through and nothing turns me on more than my man exploring himself and feeling totally satisfied. Sex to me is completely different from love and romance. It’s biological, and our feelings for each other go well beyond fucking.

What are some of your ambitions moving forward in the industry, both as a couple and separately?
T: I started in the industry individually and for me, I’m finding much more fulfillment as a couple moving forward as our own brand, The CC Boys. We’re in total sync of what we’d like to explore and our ambitions as to where we’d like to take ourselves, which is let’s go as far as we can take this!! The long term is to extend our brand into different areas. I’d love to start producing our own full-length studio-quality films, with full plot and story, believe it or not. We definitely want to be able to travel to film with a wider net of adult content creators outside of our Toronto and Buffalo bubbles. We also do live go-go/strip shows so we are not afraid of a live stage! We are totally open to any and all opportunities right now. We’re in our “say yes” period.
P: I’m considering pursuing work for adult studios in the future. However, I also know that as a couple, we have something unique to offer to our fans and are continuing to produce content that our fans enjoy. I think people really enjoy seeing our content because it is so genuine and we truly love what we're doing. As a couple, we have plans to work with other names in the industry as well.
Who are Travis and Paul outside of the industry? What are your lives like?
T: We’re very normal and pretty private, to be honest. It’s a lot of eating, gym, Golden Girls, sleep, and repeat right now! That’s because we’re determined to reach our body goals for shooting and filming, which we are prioritizing over going out all the time. Luckily, we also work in nightlife go-go dancing weekly so we do get to be social with friends and fans, but doesn’t give us much time to enjoy each other when we are out. Because we work the exact same hours and are together 24 hours a day, we’re figuring out how to find a balance between what would be considered adult work vs. our adult life. Also because our cam shows are us having live sex, we are trying to practice making them still performative but more true to our real-life intimate sex. I think that would be a challenge in any line of work but it particularly is for us because of the nature of us being sexual all the time. I think we’ve been toeing the line pretty well thus far, but always something to keep in mind, and strive to push ourselves for better in our relationship.
P: I have family back home in Buffalo. One of the great things about being with Travis is that we’re in close proximity to the US and my family. They’ve all met him and love him. Our lives are fairly simple. I spend the majority of my time in Toronto nowadays. Being from different countries, it’s a process for us to live together full-time. Outside of adult entertainment, I’m considering pursuing a degree in physical therapy in Canada which would allow us to live together. I'm also launching my own online personal training company and continuing my brand ambassadorships with clothing and supplement companies as I've always done.

For Travis: What is the sexiest thing about Paul and what do you love most about him?
T: If you had asked me what my ideal man was before I met Paul, I would have told you everything opposite of what he is—lol. Which I think goes to show that what you think you want isn’t always what you actually want or need. One of the sexiest parts of him is his attitude, personality, and voice, that’s stuff you can’t go to the gym for or teach. But physically, I’m turned on by every single part of his body, from his big hockey jock ass, to his huge fat cock hanging between his legs (greatest cock you’ll ever feel), to his puppy dog eyes that I can look into without doubt knowing he’s honestly the man I’m in love with. I want to add that I don’t think we would have met any other time in our life other than now. If we had met before in our previous lives, we wouldn’t have connected the way we have. Sometimes fate plays a game of right place right time, and when stars align for two people undeniable sparks can fly. Although our relationship is still quite fresh and we are in a very different industry to be experiencing it, our love for each other is real. But don’t think we can't still share our love with others while we enjoy each other! ;)
For Paul: What is the sexiest thing about Travis and what do you love most about him?
P: Beyond his beautiful juicy ass and gorgeous blue eyes, he is the most genuine, sweetest hunk of a man I’ve ever met. Put aside the 6’4” 235 lb muscular-as-fuck frame, and you will never meet a sweeter man in your life.
