Hello! It’s time for another episode of Sorry For Asking with Adam Ramzi and Cole Connor! Adam and Cole are wearing shirts today, but that’s okay because Cole won Best Actor at the Grabby’s! YAY! This week’s special guest is the fabulous and stunning Küper! Küper is a trans-non-binary adult performer and jewelry designer. The episode began with a really insightful conversation about gender. Küper shared her experience growing up as a trans person. She mentioned always feeling like she was different and wanting to express herself. They mentioned feeling like the problem child, but realizing that she wasn’t bad, just different. Also, I had no idea Adam holds a Master’s Degree in LGBT Psychology! That’s so cool!

Küper talked about life before her transition and navigating feeling forced into being “masculine” or more cis-male presenting. She talked about feeling pressured to have big muscles and how it made her feel disgusting. But also seeing the people around her praise her for being muscular in a stereotypically masc way. Eventually, she realized that she needed to make a change and finally decided to live in her truth. Adam brought up an image that Küper posted, showing her in a dress and a wig sitting at a dinner table with her boy head on the plate looking dead. It was honestly so fierce! The symbolism of seeing Küper as her true self eating her old self for dinner is such a serve! Literally and figuratively!

Küper spilled some serious tea about a few porn studios she worked with. She talked about working with Guys In Sweatpants and how they didn’t want her working with any other companies. Then she talked about working with CockyBoys and them not letting her work with Black performers. Küper recalled calling out the studios in 2020 for posting about BLM but not actually booking Black models. It’s something I’ve noticed in porn too. There are so few black models in studio porn versus white and non-white models.

It was really eye-opening to hear about their experience in the adult industry and how she was treated and continues to be treated. She spoke about possibly starting OnlyFans again but said that she would get hate on there as well. People were literally paying the monthly fee just to send her mean messages. Society has a lot of learning and growing to do, and it is so important to hear stories like Küper's and learn how we can be better to support our trans friends. I’m so glad she came on the podcast to share her story.
