Hey gurl! It’s Monday all over again! Can you believe it? That means there’s a brand new episode of Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro! My guest this week is a comedian, a podcaster, and a truly lovely human! It’s Quincy Bazen! He’s so hilarious, and co-hosts the podcast Dom Pop alongside his friend Hayden Baker! I was so excited to drive out to see Quincy for this in-person episode! We just sat on the floor of his studio space and laughed like school girls for an hour and a half! This episode is amazing. I started the episode by talking about how busy I’ve been with Pride gigs and DragCon content. And how this episode nearly didn’t happen! I’m so glad I’m stubborn. Once I introduced Quincy, we talked about both of us turning 30, and how he’s a Taurus. I love a Taurus, so I knew it would be a good episode. We bonded over being newly 30 and the zodiac.

Somehow we got on the subject of Tom Cruise and how he’s short but wears insoles. I think it happened because I mentioned Quincy being tall, and he denied it. But also when you’re me, everyone is tall! Then we talked about how people love to lie about their height. Quincy mentioned his theory that no one on Grindr admits to being 5’11”! This was so strange to me, but it makes sense!

We had to talk about Dom Pop, and its impact on me as a person. This podcast is the reason I decided to listen to the new Jessie Ware album! And I’m so glad I did! Quincy and I took some time to share some of his favorite albums with me. I was shocked at his choices! We didn’t have very many favorite albums in common.

The second half of this episode is absolutely wild! Pretty much we just rambled together and an hour and a half. We tackled every topic! Charcuterie? Yeah, we talked about it. Charmed!?! Of course, we talked about it! Somehow it came up and I had no idea Quincy was a superfan like me! We also touched on Harry Potter and STIs. We even talked about tanning and curly hair. This entire episode was such a hoot! I know you're going to love it!
