The time has come for another recap of the greatest show on television, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars! We’ve already said goodbye to Monica Beverly Hillz and Naysha Lopez, but never fear! The Fame Games twist is still very much a thing! In case you don’t know what that is, each of the eliminated queens will show what they would have worn on the runway. At the end of the season, the fans will vote for the eliminated queen they think should will The Fame Games and earn a cash prize of $50,000! This is great because it will allow the eliminated queens to showcase the looks they spent thousands of dollars preparing! A lot of people don’t realize the struggle of trying to get these looks done in the timeframe and the cost behind it. It’s been a big topic of discussion amongst the queens for a long time. Some girls who win the season barely break even after they cash the check! Cute drag is not cheap, and cheap drag is not cute!
All is fair in love and lipsticks... or is it?

This episode starts with the queens lamenting the loss of Naysha Lopez. She is a drag legend and quite frankly is getting a lot of unnecessary hate online. Some of you need to go outside and touch grass. Anyway, the girls go over the lipstick votes from last week, and Kahanna got three votes to go home! Jessica reveals that she voted for Kahanna because she couldn’t bear to vote a fellow Puerto Rican queen off the show. Kasha also voted for Kahanna, and we can assume that Naysha was the last vote because who votes for themselves to go home?! Wait. Didn’t Mayhem vote for herself on her season of All-Stars??

It’s a new day in the werk room! The queens realize that the prize pot is now at $30,000! That means the lip sync assassins have won every lip sync so far! Whichever queen from the competition wins the first lip sync will be very rich! RuPaul enters the werk room and tells the queens that for this week’s Maxi Challenge, they’ll be throwing a ball! It’s the Supermarket Ball!! The categories are LegenDairy Queens, Fruity Patootie, and Supermarket Supermodel (a high fashion look created using items from a supermarket)! The pit crew enters all oiled up and delicious, carrying the materials the queens will use to create their looks. This is going to be fun!
All legs AND dairy

Let’s talk about the runway! We have approximately five hundred looks to assess, so get ready! The first category is LegenDairy Queens! Some of my favorites were Jimbo, Kandy Muse, and Heidi N. Closet. Jimbo’s was so fashion-forward, and I loved the silhouette of Kandy’s look! And Heidi looked amazing in this latex milk lady fantasy! I live! Some of my least favorites were Alexis Michelle and Darienne Lake. I feel like Alexis’ look wasn’t as polished as I would expect from her, and Darienne’s seemed to drown her. It just needed a shorter hem and more shape in the waist and the sleeves.
Category Is: Fruity Patootie! Who had your berry favorite lewk? #AllStars8 pic.twitter.com/A9Ll6pQjCM

Next up, Fruity Patootie! Some standouts for me were Kahanna Montrese, Alexis Michelle, and Mrs. Kasha Davis. Kasha’s banana look was STUNNING! Probably my favorite thing on the runway this entire episode. Some not-so-sweet looks for me were Jaymes Mansfield and Lala Ri. I just felt like Lala’s was too simple and I didn’t get the story she was trying to tell.

Finally, the moment we’ve been waiting for! It’s Supermarket Supermodel! The queens who nailed this category were Kahanna Montrese and Jaymes Mansfield. Kahanna’s look was so elaborate! I know that’s not easy to sew, and it’s a lot of pieces! The queens who fell short for me were Kandy Muse, Darienne Lake, and Mrs. Kasha Davis. Kandy’s was probably the nicest of the three, but it was essentially a triangle and a puffy skirt.
RUVEAL YOURSELF! ️ This week's lip sync assassin will have you saying oh my god

Jessica Wild is the top All-Star of the week! Jimbo, Kandy Muse, and Lala Ri are safe! That means Darienne Lake and Mrs. Kasha Davis are the bottom two queens of the week! I adore both of these queens, so it sucks to know that one of them will be going home tonight. This week’s lip-sync assassin is none other than… Ra’Jah O’Hara!! They lip-sync to “Coconuts” by Kim Petras. Jessica Wild wins the lip-sync, and a cash tip of $30,000! That’s amazing!! However! Now, Jessica Wild has to decide which of the two bottom queens will get the chop! The queen whose lipstick Jessica chose is… Mrs. Kasha Davis! I am so sad to see her go! But she still has a chance to win The Fame Games!
That’s all for this week! Next week’s challenge will have the queens making comedic movie trailers. You know I LOVE a comedy challenge! So come back next week and see what happens!
