He’s so cute and one of my favorite people to run into on a night out! Jay Lo has danced at Bear Bust and Club Chub at Precinct in downtown LA. How did you get your name:

My name is Jesus Lopez. My boss at the bar came up with the name Jay Lo because that's what my friends called me in HS.

When did you start go-go dancing and what got you into it:

I did Precinct Box Stars. I didn't win but I left a good impression and little by little I’ve been working my way up the go-go boy ladder.

Favorite styles of music and artists to dance to:

Pop/dance: Madonna, Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue.

Venues & parties you dance at:

Have only danced at Precinct in Downtown LA, but would love to dance anywhere else. I have danced for Club Chub and Bear Bust at Precinct. I just booked my first gig for Puteria, also at Precinct.

Favorite thing to wear while dancing:

Honestly a thong or a jockstrap. I have some good looks by Cellblock 13.

My legs, since they keep me up and going.

The best way I can describe it is doing the “Hung Up” by Madonna squat.

Yes, I've always depended on the kindness of strangers.

No, but I wouldn't mind if I did.

Biggest pet peeve when people are tipping you:

When they tell me I have to work for it. I'm already dancing and that's work. I'm not bending over backward for a dollar.

Biggest pet peeve about working with other go-go boys:

Not dancing or switching out on time so you can go take a break. Too many times other dancers are fucking around doing something and forget they should be dancing.
