Jordan Jayro’s Drag Race Season 15 Recap: Episode 16, Grand Finale

Hi gay! We have finally arrived at season fifteen's grand finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race! After all these weeks, we’ve finally reached the end. The time has come to crown a winner! I love it! The only crown I have is the one on my front tooth! So buckle up, bitches! Let’s get right into it!

The episode begins with each of the queens walking out in order of elimination! Irene Dubois came out first and she looked incredible! We really missed out on seeing what she has to offer. All of the queens have had a little bit of a glow-up. Besides Irene, some standouts for me were Robin Fierce, Sugar, and Spice.

Ru comes out and says that for this year’s grand finale, each of the top four queens will perform a solo number. Then RuPaul will choose the top two queens to compete in a lip sync smackdown for the crown!! I love this format! I can’t decide if I like a lip sync for the crown or solo performances. This year we get both!

Anetra is up first!! Her original song is called “Lotus”! She wore a white jumpsuit with flowers and a nude illusion! I was not feeling this look. Wearing white on camera is not a good choice. And I really hoped to see more stunts from her. That being said, her face is always flawless and her stage presence is undeniable. I am absolutely buying a ticket to her show!

Luxx was next! Her song “It’s Giving Fashion” was so cute!! The song was super catchy! And she slayed this performance! The choreo was sickening! Luxx’s red sparkly outfit was so cute. And the reveal was flawless! As the kids would say, she ate that! The hair was not my favorite though. Was it 40 inches though?!

Mistress is third! Her song is called “Delusion”! She plays a nurse who is here to cure you of your drag delusion! Not me though, I’ve never experienced drag delusion. I wasn’t as thrilled about the outfit choice for this number. She slayed the runway all season so I was hoping for something crazy!

Last is Sasha Colby! Her song is appropriately titled “GODDESS”! This number was show-stopping! In case you aren’t up-to-date with your drag herstory, this number had several nods to her winning talent at Miss Continental. You have to watch it if you haven’t already! I watch it several times a year for a serotonin boost.

RuPaul has made some decisions! The top two queens of the season are… Anetra and Sasha Colby!!! Now these two queens will lip-sync for the crown! But before that, our current reigning Miss Congeniality, Kornbread must crown a new Miss Congeniality. And the winner is Malaysia Babydoll Foxx!! I love her! And the people love her too!

Okay everyone be quiet! The time has come for our top two queens to lip-sync for the crown! Anetra and Sasha lip-synced to “Kock On Wood” by Amii Stewart. They both looked incredible! Anetra had a sparkly jumpsuit with a heart, and Sasha came out in a huge black gown. Sasha had multiple flawless reveals and ended up in a bra and panty with a long human hair ponytail. Anetra’s heart became a long ribbon that she swung around.

So who is America’s next drag superstar?! Who will win a cash prize of $200,000 and a SICKENING supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics?! Drumroll, please!! The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 is… SASHA COLBY! I could not be more pleased with this result. Sasha is truly a legend and an icon, and she swept this entire competition. Congrats to her!
