DIGGING DEEPER WITH DILLON DIAZ: WEDDING BELLS

I am Dillon Diaz and this is Digging Deeper, my bi-monthly column where we will discuss everything porn.

I am now an industry veteran who has seen many things. Beloved colleges come and go, studios come and go, policy changes, trend changes, and world events that have changed the way we do business. This is all up for discussion and more.

This is not a gossip column nor a place to attack anyone. We will have elevated conversations around just about anything porn related. With that said, I am open to suggestions or questions: you can send here.

Our first discussion coming up is my wedding to Jake Waters! We met on set for Noir Male on November 9th of 2019 and in just a few days on April 29th of 2023 we will be exchanging I do’s.

We had a beautiful courtship that defied the odds and renewed my faith in love. When I began working in adult entertainment, I just assumed that I would be single for the duration because there wouldn’t be many people who would be comfortable with what I do for a living. And trying to build a relationship with someone who is also an adult entertainer, could be problematic too, but I was wrong. I found one who understood me, and loved me, and we don’t have any sense of competition with each other. In fact, we are happy when the other gets booked. We live together now and split our expenses so either way there’s money coming into our household.

The other uniquely, beautiful aspect of our relationship is that there is no jealousy or over-possessiveness. I mean, don’t get me wrong, that is my man and I will fight a bitch for him if necessary. However, it hasn’t been necessary. I love seeing him explore and enjoy his sexuality. I also appreciate the freedom to explore and enjoy my sexuality. We do have some ground rules and guidelines to keep everybody happy and healthy but the key to success for us has been honesty and open communication.

I am ready to spend the rest of my life with this man, living, loving, laughing, and thriving. A lot of people have told us that we are an inspiration to them and that we give them hope of finding lasting love one day. My best advice to you lovers is to focus on you. The more complete and happy you are, the more you will be able to attract what you are looking for into your life. I know it sounds counterintuitive to stop searching but STOP SEARCHING! Just be as ready as you can possibly be and let love find you. Be a beacon of light and love. Shine brightly and you will be easy to find.

This week our families start to arrive and there will be lots of impromptu gatherings every evening until after our wedding day when everyone starts to go home. I’m looking forward to every minute of it.

The advice that has been shared with me countless times during the planning process is to stay present and enjoy every minute. It goes by so quickly and you don’t want to waste any of your time worrying about things that really don’t matter. So I will stay present and give you some of the intimate details in my next article.

If you think about it, that’s good advice for life in general.
