Sorry For Asking: Dr. Joshua Gonzalez Talks Prostates, Penis Size, and Popstar

PODCAST

Hi gay! There's a brand new episode of Sorry For Asking with Adam Ramzi and Cole Connor! This week’s guest is Dr. Joshua Gonzalez! He’s a Los Angeles-based urologist and CEO of Popstar Labs! Josh talked about originally wanting to be a pediatrician, and coming out during medical school. He joked that being a urologist would be a way to see a lot of dicks. Josh said that urology allowed him to be more hands-on while helping people with urinary and genital issues related to sexual health, kidneys, bladder health, and so on.

Adam asks Joshua a question that comes up anytime three gay men are in a room: What even is a prostate? Josh says the prostate is a gland that expells most of the fluid expelled during an orgasm. That fluid provides nutrients to the sperm to allow them to live long enough to fertilize an egg. He shared that most people think semen comes from the balls, but only sperm actually comes from the balls. Everything else comes from the prostate. So the entire load is sperm, semen, and seminal fluid. The more you know!

Dr. Gonzalez helped create Popstar, which is a doctor-formulated volume and taste enhancer. He mentioned that he noticed a lot of patients complaining that they were experiencing lower volumes of semen during sex. Many said that it affected their pleasure during sex. So after months of research, Joshua and a fellow urologist developed a complete ejaculate health supplement. Popstar not only increases the volume of your loads. It will also make your semen taste sweeter, and increase the quality of your sperm for fertility. If that’s something you’re into!

Then came a really interesting conversation about penis size. Cole asked Josh about the biggest and smallest penises he’d seen. Josh said that it ranged from around four inches to nearly nine inches. Adam brought up injections and the different kinds that exist to make your penis larger. Some also are injections designed to help with erectile dysfunction. There was a lot of scientific discussion about the ingredients in these kinds of treatments and their effects.

Adam asked Dr. Gonzalez if there is any truth to the saying that cum is good for your skin. Josh said there are definitely nutrients in cum, but that there isn’t too much evidence to suggest that it is worth leaving on your face. Cole says he prefers to swallow it rather than wear it. And I respect that! Josh even mentions that in rare cases people can have allergies to skin contact with cum. But it’s mostly in heterosexual women who experience burning from cum on their skin.
