Meet Eddie Gillett, AKA Brooklyn Bear! The sexy native New Yorker's adult content goes back to the Tumblr days before Tumblr made the wrong decision to ban explicit content. He then moved his goodies to Twitter. Finding love, friendship, and a lot of explicit fun since starting out, Brooklyn Bear has worked with MonsterCub, Bear Films, NY Seed, and more. Check out his Twitter and JustforFans for sexy fun and check out the interview below for an exciting look into his life.
1. How did you get so lucky to snag the handle Brooklyn Bear?
Brooklyn is my hometown! I chose my handle mainly because it's easy for people to remember. It just rolls off the tongue. The other advantage is that it tells others where they can find me :)
2. How long have you been making adult content?
It's hard to pinpoint how I started making "adult content." I've been posting sexy content for quite some time. Though I guess I could say that my official debut in adult films would be the scene, I did with The Rhino, now my partner, for MonsterCub. That was back in 2018. But I was having fun in front of the camera way before that. My first naughty profile was on Tumblr before they decided to ban explicit content.
3. I scoured your socials for your content. You play with all kinds of men but tend to lean toward the burlier, hairier, older crowd. How do you plan, vet, and coordinate who you make content with?
My library is a mix of both spontaneous and planned content. Sometimes I'll play around with a dude, and it's so hot that we want to record something we can jerk off to later.
I am pretty versatile regarding the types of guys I play with. The key for me: is finding scene partners who can be their natural horny selves in front of a camera. There are many guys worldwide with whom I'd love to film, but sometimes it can be tricky to find the time and place to do it. Living in NYC is definitely an advantage because you have many content creators who live here. Quite a few of my scene partners are locals with whom I'm friends. Twitter is also an excellent place to network with other content creators and see their work. I have a few trips planned this year. So I'm excited to see who else I can collab with.
4. Do you have any interest in studio work?
I've enjoyed working with MonsterCub, Bear Films, Woofbound, and NYSeed. I've had fun times with them, and I'm hoping for more opportunities.
5. What is your favorite thing about being on camera? I fancy myself an exhibitionist, so it is the thrill I see in the other person's eyes.
I'm definitely an exhibitionist myself. I didn't always use to be this way. I've definitely become more comfortable in my own skin over the years. I love being naked and being the source of pleasure for so many. I love receiving compliments on the street. I get turned on when guys tell me they jerk off to my movies.
6. Who are some of your favorite Bear creators?
Some include my partner, The Rhino (@TheRhinoXXX), for one; our buddy Scorpido (@ScorpidoM); Dom Impala (@thedomimpala), and Texas Hound (@thetexashound), all of whom I've made content with.
7. What is a surefire way to get your attention during a night out?
If you want my attention, the best way is to say hi! I'm always happy to meet my followers.
8. What do you love about the Bear community of NY?
I've been to many different cities, and I have to say that the NYC Bear community is the most welcoming and close-knit by far. When I walk into any sort of bear event, there are people I know that know my name. Not everywhere is fortunate enough to have that kind of space.
9. What is on your social calendar for this month?
Rhino and I will travel to New Orleans at the end of this month. A good friend of ours is celebrating his birthday there. And who knows? Maybe we might connect with content creators while we're down there.
10. Walk us through a night of Brooklyn Bear entertainment?
A night of Brooklyn Bear entertaining you might leave you sore in the morning, but you will be satisfied.
11. How did you meet your partner @TheRhinoXXX?
I met The Rhino a few years back during Pride here in NY. A mutual friend of ours introduced us. He was visiting from Miami. We locked lips, and we hit it off instantly. We did the long-distance thing for a while, and now we're living together, and I couldn't be happier. He's truly the best partner you could ask for. He was also my first partner in a professional film. He has helped me tremendously in becoming the Brooklyn Bear that you see. He's been super supportive, and I'm fortunate to have him.
12. Are you looking to expand or capitalize on your brand in any way?
I haven't really thought about that. Right now, I'm just taking things one day at a time. I am interested in starting my own website someday. But it's not my primary goal at this time. I've had the chance to meet a lot of cool people. I enjoy creating art to please my followers. If I've accomplished nothing other than that, then I'm happy.
