Maren Morris dares Tennessee police to jail her for introducing son to drag queens: 'F---ing arrest me'

It’s no secret that many states are introducing laws that directly target LGBT people and drag queens. Tennessee is one of those states, with a bill signed into law that can make drag a felony. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, and it’s ruffled the feathers of anyone with any common sense. Recently, singer Marren Morris performed at Nashville's Love Rising event benefiting the Tennessee Equality Project, Inclusion Tennessee, Out Memphis, and the Tennessee Pride Chamber. During her performance, she brought several drag queens on stage with her, including Aura Mayari (from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15) and Alexia Noelle Paris (she’s a fierce queen and you need to check her out)! This is the beginning of what I hope to be even more loud and proud allyship against these insane laws.

Katy Perry accused of ‘mom shaming’ by ‘American Idol’ contestant

Katy Perry is taking some heat this week after a comment she made on a recent episode of American Idol is upsetting some folks online. A 25-year-old contestant named Sara Beth Liebe is calling out Katy Perry for a joke she made that was perceived as “mom shaming”. Sara Beth Liebe made a TikTok about her experience on the show. The judges were shocked to find out her age, claiming she looked like she could be 16. Sara then revealed that she was a mother of three. Katy Perry jokingly got up from her chair and pretended to fall on the table. Sara then said, “If Katy lays on the table, I think I’m gonna pass out,” which then prompted Katy to say, “Honey, you’ve been laying on the table too much,” and that was where we all collectively cringed. In Sara’s TikTok she comment that the joke “wasn’t super kind,” and that she was hurt by it. CNN reached out to Katy Perry’s reps for a comment. They have not responded.

Maximum Taylor: Here’s How the Eras Tour Hits New, Swift-ier Heights

Do you remember trying and failing to get tickets to see Taylor Swift? I certainly do! But that’s fine, I’m totally over it. Anyway, her Eras Tour kicked off this past week in Glendale, Arizona, and the show was epic! She has released four new albums since her last tour! So that on top of her already lengthy catalog made creating the setlist a huge challenge. She managed to get through roughly 45 songs in the three-hour show. That is insane! She is said to have performed the most-attended concert by a female artist in history. I’m not sure who was counting, but Twitter said it, so it must be true, right? If you were lucky enough to get tickets, good for you!

Original Power Rangers Reunite in ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always’ Trailer to Defeat Rita Repulsa

Millennials all over the world are rejoicing! Netflix just dropped the trailer for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always and everyone is losing it! We all grew up watching Power Rangers, and have been begging for a reunion forever! There was that one movie that came out a few years ago, but we don’t have to talk about it. The premise of this movie appears to be that Rita Repulsa has returned by way of time travel and is now on a mission to destroy the Power Rangers. The Rangers, of course, are now older, but by the looks of the trailer, they’ve still got it! I can not wait to see this movie! There needs to be a viewing party for the gays. I’m also about to say something that may scare you: it has been 30 years since the original Power Rangers TV show aired. Feel old yet?

Beyoncé & Adidas Agree To Sever Business Ties

It’s official, Beyoncé and Adidas have agreed to part ways after a recent decline in sales. The Wall Street Journal reported that Beyoncé’s clothing line Ivy Park fell below its 2022 sales projections of $250 million. Allegedly Ivy Park only made $40 million at the end of the year, much lower than the $93 million total from 2021. Even the wild marketing campaigns with celebrities such as  Irina Shayk, Yara Shahidi, Megan Thee Stallion, and Ice Spice couldn’t make up for the dip in sales. This could be a big loss for Adidas though, which is projected to lose a total of $1.3 billion this year after dropping Kanye West. Granted, he needed to go. But dropping Beyoncé may not be a good idea, since she is about to embark on what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest stadium tours of all time.
