“X-Rated: NYC” Episode 2 Recap Starring Cybersocket Stud, Max Konnor

Picking up right we left off Joey and Boomer are still fighting in the street. It does suck to see a charity event that was important to Max become a spectacle but I guess that’s exactly what we expected right? One of the purposes of this show is to see the other side of pornstars and I really enjoy seeing Boomer in his element, shopping for fabrics, and talking about Sniffies. “Stars, they’re just like us” … Fast forward to the rest of the cast working out and Dante opens up about his feelings surrounding bi-erasure as Joey makes another joke. I think this was a really good moment for the show because it is really true, especially in men to overlook someone's queerness like that and then make them feel like an outsider. So shout out to Dante for sharing that with us.

Now this episode is filled with what I believe to be reality tv first (fact check that yourself) but I’m pretty sure this is the first Sniffies hookup ever on a show, way to go Mr.Banks because that is fucking awesome. Reality shows should be real and showcase everyday life, anonymous hookup apps are part of everyday life and why shouldn’t that be shared? And then the scene is totally interrupted by his ex stopping by while he has a d*ck in his mouth. You can’t make this shit up. I think that is fresh and exciting. This show was whole is entirely fresh and exciting the more I watch the more I want to be on season two.

Every time it seems like things start to smooth over and move forward these boys seem to go the other way, and towards the end of this episode, we start to see the cracks between Max and Boomer. Could this lifelong friendship soon be interrupted? It’s kind of camp watching grown men argue while waving dildos in their hands. Everyone is calling each other two-faced, shellfish, and immature until Max has a full-blown storm off. This quickly the dynamics in the show have completely shifted from the first episode to now and now it's one half of the cast vs. the other. What will next week bring us? Are the tables going to continue to turn? All I hope is Max and Boomer figure out a way forward and Dante bats his perfect brow eyes at the camera more.
