Lady Gaga, Joaquin Phoenix Unveil Dramatic First Look at ‘Joker’ Sequel

Ever since Gaga was announced to play Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel, I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive. I need to clarify, there is no greater Gaga stan than me! I've seen her live a total of six times! In my eyes, she can do no wrong. And I want to see her win the Oscar for an acting role! I knew it wasn't going to happen for House of Gucci if it didn't happen for A Star Is Born. But maybe it could happen for this role! She has surprised me in the past, so maybe we should all go into this with an open mind. The rumor is that there will be music in the film. Does that mean we'll get an original song from Gaga as Harley Quinn? That is something I can get behind. We'll have to wait until October 4th, 2024 to find out!

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck prove their ‘commitment’ with matching tattoos

I can’t help but cringe just a little bit at this specific headline. J. Lo and Ben Affleck have gotten matching tattoos! They are THAT couple. And there’s nothing wrong with that...But I would be lying if I didn’t think that maybe it’s just a bit of an overshare. I always feel like celebrities who share too much of their relationships always end up not working out. I just want J. Lo for once to have true love and not worry about public scrutiny or a public break up or divorce. Not to mention the fact that if things don’t work out between them, she’s going to be known as the woman who got matching tattoos with her husband and then got a divorce! At the same time though, it would be very entertaining to watch.

What, Exactly, Did People Want From Rihanna?

It seems like a lot of people were underwhelmed by Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance this year. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t watching it thinking that it didn’t look like months of preparation. But when it was revealed that she is expecting a baby, it made me think… Clearly, this gig was something she knew about and had committed to a long time ago, way before she was pregnant. Now I wonder what it must have been like when she was in the middle of preparations and found out she was pregnant. Did they have to rework the show? That could explain why it seems like she didn’t do much else besides walk around and sing while the dancers moved around her. I still got my life though! She looked amazing, and she did that pregnant! Some of you have so much to say but can’t do that even without a human growing inside you.

Pharrell Williams will be Louis Vuitton's next men's creative director

It’s official! Pharrell Williams has been announced as the next men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton. He previously collaborated with Louis Vuitton in 2004 and 2008 and now he will oversee menswear. His first collection will show this June during fashion week.  This news comes just a little more than a year after the passing of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s previous artistic director. Virgil was most known for his brand Off-White and became the first black artistic director of Louis Vuitton in 2018. Most people know Pharrell as a 13-time Grammy winner but has had a successful career in fashion since 2003, working will numerous brands. I can’t wait to see what he brings to the runway!

Sam Smith left ‘furious’ over raunchy Brit Awards 2023 performance

Sam Smith and Kim Petras just won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group for their song “Unholy” and got to perform it at the Brit Awards this past week. Their performance was said to feature the most elaborate set of the night. And that didn’t come without its fair share of difficulties. Although the performance appeared to go off without a hitch, an insider reported that it was causing a nightmare backstage. One of the cars that was used in the performance malfunctioned, causing the performance to be delayed. There was even talk that the performance may have had to be cut entirely. Imagine being Kim Petras and flying all the way out there to sing a verse and it getting canceled? I would be so angry! Thankfully the show did in fact go on, and the performance was iconic!
