Hi, girlies! This week's Drag Queen Spotlight is none other than Beetrix Couture! She and I met a while back at a gig we did together at Main Street Bar and Cabaret in Laguna Beach. I was enamored with her looks and flawless makeup! She's so funny and gorgeous, and I know you're going to love her! How did you get your drag name?

I got my drag name from the movie Kill Bill. I love the character Beatrix Kiddo that Uma Thurman plays. I loved the name but I didn't like the A after the E so I just added another E to make it a bit cuter, and Couture is my drag mother's last name.

How long have you been doing drag?

4 years. She turns 5 in June.

When is your birthday? How old are you?

My birthday is April 29th and I’m 24.

Relationship status?

Single... I got cobwebs in the cave.

What was your first time in drag like?

It was very fun and SWEATY!

What made you want to start drag?

I've always been in love with makeup transformation and actually I was in HS when I met a student who did drag and they introduced me to it.

Who inspires your drag (celebrities, other queens, etc.)?

What inspires my drag is cartoon characters, anime, bimbos sluts, and porcelain dolls.

Favorite song/artist to lip sync to?

I love me some TLC or Kylie Minogue.

Have you ever hooked up in drag?

Hell no, I wear too much makeup and I sweat like a hog.

What’s your favorite thing about drag?

My favorite thing in drag is that you can make coin while looking stunning, and this sounds cheesy but it fills my heart when I see people get so excited when a queen goes on stage.

What are your hobbies outside of drag?

My hobbies outside of drag are smoking tree, and manifesting for a boyfriend that knows how to cook.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed in a dressing room?

Nothing really besides seeing a lot of naked bodies.
