Having a Laugh After Sex with Comedian & Porn Star Drew Valentino

Not only is he getting your dicks hard, but he also is making the masses laugh! Meet Drew Valentino, "a comedian that does gay porn," as he jokingly refers to himself. It has been two and a half years since pivoting from HS math teacher to award-winning porn star, who signed to famed porn studios Falcon Studios / Raging Stallion almost immediately. He has recently resumed his stand-up career after starting it 12 years ago! 1. What was the pivot moment in going from a "porn star that does stand up" to a "comedian that does gay porn"?

It was mostly a joke cause what's really the difference? Haha. But what got me thinking about this were two things:

1. I'm now doing stand-up comedy more frequently than I am doing studio porn.
2. I've noticed a shift in people's perception of identity. When I go out, people come up and say, "I love your work! I jerk off to you all the time." I'm also starting to get lots of "I love your comedy and your TikToks."

2. Do you find telling jokes about your porn sets makes the experience more organic and fun?

Totally. People are really fascinated by it. Everyone watches or has watched porn, but no one knows much about the behind-the-scenes. I've noticed that even when I'm not at a punchline, the room will be very engaged in my story out of pure curiosity.

3. You comically called yourself a "verse top, aka a bottom," so tell us, top 3 famous funny men with big dick energy you'd love to bottom for?

It's funny because I'm fully vers, vers/top, if anything. But for some reason, I love portraying myself as a big ole bottom in my stand-up routine. I don't know… "and then I got fucked in the ass" just seems to make such a better punchline than the other way around.

I wanna fuck John Mulaney in the ass.

I will say that both Beau Butler and Holden Flex crack me the fuck up. I've incorporated some funny things they've said in conversation into my stand-up routine.

4. Do you remember your first stand-up show? How would you now rate that performance?

Yes, I was 21 years old, and to be honest, I killed it the first time. I remember a more seasoned regular at that open mic came up to me after and told me that he loved my set. He asked how long I'd been doing stand-up and was in complete shock when I told him it was my first time.

5. How does someone get your funny boner to go up? What makes you laugh?

I love shock value! When done tastefully, a dark or crude sense of humor can be hilarious. And obviously, I will always favor sex jokes, being gay, and gay butt sex.

6. Please, tell us how one goes from math teacher to porn star?

People don't realize that there were a few intermediate steps in my journey from A To B. I left teaching after my 4th year for several reasons. I got accepted into a graduate program for applied statistics. I studied for two years and started my new full-time career as a statistician. I still have and love this job. But along the way, I began OnlyFans and discovered how much I love doing studio work. So I didn't go from teacher to pornstar. I went from teacher to statistician, and I accidentally became a pornstar. Whoops. Teehee.

7. If seeking a partner, would you rather have someone who tells jokes with you or someone you make laugh the hardest?

That's a great question. Most of the time, I bond with others by laughing together over the ridiculous things that come from my mouth. It does make me really happy when someone shares my sense of humor. But I'm much more impressed by someone who can make me laugh.

8. Can you share anything about your journey into sobriety and how Beau Butler fits into that with you?

I was actually sober for 10 years, from 20-30. Interestingly enough, both times I got sober, I transitioned my focus to stand-up comedy, something that brings me a lot of joy that doesn't involve drugs or alcohol.

The recent 4 years of being not sober was an intentional decision. I was experimenting with my options as a fully functioning adult. But I learned during this time that I still have an addictive personality, and the use of drugs or alcohol is not suitable for my mental health.

When I announced my decision to go sober again, many friends reached out with concern, wondering if anything bad had happened that sparked this decision. But ultimately, I missed the stability and control I had in those ten years. I was happier, and I just wanted that back.

Unfortunately, Beau and I haven't had the opportunity to hang out much since I got sober since we both are always traveling. But I will say Beau is the first person in the porn industry I learned was sober. I learned this almost a year before getting sober, and that definitely got me thinking and planted the seed. When I told him my decision, he was really excited for me. He also helped me connect with other sober people in LA.

9. Has anyone you ever shot with not found you funny? If so, did it hurt the chemistry?
No, I'm hilarious. Ok, all joking aside, I can't remember when my scene partner and I weren't laughing throughout the day. This 100% helps to build chemistry. Trenton Ducati, Tony Dimarco, and Ben Rush would all vouch that my sense of humor has helped bring me to where I am now in the porn industry.

10. What latest Grindr hookup made it into your set? Was it a ha-ha train wreck or ha-ha success?

There is one hot guy I've hooked up with 3-4 times. We always do a "face down, ass up, lights low" situation, which is my absolute favorite. A few days ago, I went to his place and loaded him up as usual. Lights off, face down, ass up. In fact, his head was hanging off the bed, so I couldn't really see.

Afterward, we were cuddling, and he admitted to me that while I was fucking him, he was secretly eating sliced watermelon out of a bowl tucked under his bed. We were both cracking up. He just matter-of-factly says, "I just remembered that I cut up all this watermelon, and I figured you wouldn't notice 'cause you were busy eating my ass."

I still can't get over this. Currently working it into my next stand-up routine.

11. We know you love to bring your comedy onto porn sets. Do you ever get to bring that comedy on screen?

Yes, most of it is behind the scenes and doesn't make it to the screen. But anyone that pays attention will find some funny little tidbits thrown into some of my Raging Stallion scenes. My sense of humor is more accurately captured in my OnlyFans videos, though, since that's more representative of my sex life. I usually keep any funny jokes and conversations caught on camera.

12. How do you use social media to promote your comedy and adult content work?

I think the 2 identities really support each other nicely. People seem to appreciate that my Twitter and Instagram are not just a bunch of repetitive thirst traps. Above anything, I am an entertainer.
