How did you get your drag name?
At the time I was drinking Gin and Tonic. And I wanted a name that had a little Latina flare. So wrote down Jenny Tonic on a mirror and called myself that name for a while. I loved it and changed the Insta.
How long have you been doing drag?
I started around 3 years ago. Took a fat break during quarantine so sometimes it feels like less.
When is your birthday? How old are you?
I'm 28 and my birthday is August 20th.
Relationship status?
Single as FUUUUUCK.

What was your first time in drag like?
My first time in drag was for a night out in WeHo for my friend's birthday. I loooved it! Felt my fantasy all night in that lil vintage dress and beauty shop wig.
What made you want to start drag?
Attention. Occasional free booze. In all seriousness, I've performed my whole life and I was always obsessed with live performance. And doing drag is a way to put out that kind of performance.
Who inspires your drag (celebrities, other queens, etc.)?
Honestly, sounds cheesy but my family has such fabulous women. My drag is very inspired by them and the beauty that would just be around me at all those Quinceñeras and weddings. Plus some of them grew up doing dance, and I loved those sparkly, flashy-ass costumes.

Favorite song/artist to lip sync to?
Oh, that changes all the time. But lately, I've been doing Kylie Minogue and Demi Lovato.
Have you ever hooked up in drag?
Well you know, when the moment is right I'm down.
What’s your favorite thing about drag?
I love being able to create and star in my own show, one number at a time.
What are your hobbies outside of drag?
I love cooking. If I have a free day, I'll smoke a joint and cook a feast.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed in a dressing room?
I saw someone fall down the stairs into the dressing area at Redline once. Those stairs are steep.
Biggest pet peeve about working with other drag queens?
I'm really not that easily annoyed, but I will say, I hate it when the dressing room is a tight squeeze. Sometimes I'll pad at home if I know that the dressing room is a tight fit.

Biggest pet peeve about audiences in nightclubs?
Audience members who want to join in on the performance. Baby, it's my show right now. Oh! And the money thing when they pull back the dollars, like don't do that cause I will snatch them.
Any advice for someone wanting to start drag?
Just start. If you're a perfectionist, it can take you years to start. Make the mistakes. Feel the fantasy, even if it's not the tea. And most importantly, have fun.
