Whether it was his irresistible English accent, those piercing blues eyes, that sexy smirk, a gorgeously muscular body, or that 8-inch uncut cock, it's no wonder that Ross Hurston became a sensation in gay porn in the late 2000s.
Ross always seemed to be performing with such relish, either as a dominant top or a slutty bottom.
In just three years, he gave dozens of memorable performances in movies done all over the world and at several different studios. He seemed to be at the very top of his game when he suddenly left in 2009.
Then last year, Ross popped back up looking bigger and hotter than ever on OnlyFans, with his equally hot husband at his side.
HOORAY!
Ross generously gave us an update to reflect on his previous time in the industry, to share how great he is doing today, and to assure us that he has only just begun.
Could you tell us about your journey from joining the porn industry to becoming famous?
In 2007, I decided to leave the countryside of Cheshire and moved down to London after a relationship breakup. I was fed up with men and decided to go and have some fun. Shortly after moving to London, I met Carlo Cox and Trojan Rock, the owners of AlpaMale Media. After spending some time with them, the boys suggested I visit their studio to have some photographs taken. And within a week later, I was filming my first film, Out in the Farm, for AlphaMale with Rod Piston. Luckily, Rod and I were already acquainted, along with Max Barber the cameraman, so this made filming my first film much easier. A few weeks later, I was approached by Men at Play. With a huge fetish for suits, this was a dream come true. Adrian Wilkie and Andy always looked after me and ensured I worked with the best guys and provided extremely professional experiences. I was also contacted by UK Naked Men, which provided a contrast to my suit films. I am still being contacted today about my love for The Milkman film, which seems to have been a fan favourite. Soon I realized that the love I was receiving from the UK audience would open up international doors. Kristian Bjorn contacted me and I was flown to his studio in Barcelona to have some time on the casting couch with Jean Franco and Danny Vargas. Shortly after, I was flown to Madrid to film my first film with them, Pride pt. 2. Whilst I was on set, I was contacted by an agent in San Francisco. It was arranged for me to visit the studios of Hot House and Raging Stallion. After meeting Steven Skarborough, the former president of Hot House, and Robert Drake, I knew HotHouse was the studio best for me. However, some drama unfolded, as Raging Stallion was wanting to sign me. Steven fought for me and I signed exclusively with HotHouse, where I remained for 3 years as an exclusive.
The mid and late 2000s, when you were a big star, is often thought of as the last hoorah of the traditional porn industry before the rise of personal websites and OnlyFans. What was that transition like for you?
I left the industry in late 2009, just as webcam sites were launching. I feel very blessed to have been a part of this era and will always hold it close to my heart as this will probably never be recreated again.
Could you tell us about your OnlyFans business?
So, after being away from the industry for 13 years, and after much-appreciated feedback from fans that they would like to see a comeback, I launched my OF in September 2022. After doing my first bodybuilding show in April ‘22, I felt mentally and physically ready for a return. I have been with my husband, Nicholas, for over 13 years, married for 2 years, and he always said from day one if I wanted to return to the industry, that he would fully support me. So here I am! It’s still early days, but the response has been phenomenal so I have much planned for the year ahead!

Who were some of your favorite fellow performers? Still in touch with any? Is there anybody you wish you had worked with?
Where do I begin?! I was extremely fortunate to work with some of the best men around, Tyler LaBeouf, Francesco D’macho, Nick Moretti, and Tyler Saint to name but a few. I’ve stayed in touch through social media with the guys. To work with Zeb Atlas would be incredible, as I love his dedication to bodybuilding, Oh, and the one and only Francois Sagat. He was always very charming when we met socially. I am in touch with several guys on social media. Matthew Rush is a beautiful soul in many ways and a true survivor.
What was your favorite scene and why?
Now you are testing me! For me, it was HeadHunters 1. It was my first box cover and first film with HotHouse with Ty LeBeouf. The response was so incredible, HeadHunters 2 was made!
What brought on your exit from studio work? Miss any of it? How does it compare to the OF life?
After meeting my husband, Nicholas, in London in the summer of 2009, I decided that my last film was to be Reckless 2, with HotHouse. I left the industry at the top of my game and was ready for an exit to my next chapter. I already had my first dog, Lottie, so it was the right time to retire.
Could you tell us about your life today?
We have a lovely life, living in Cheshire with our 5 dogs in a small and cozy cottage. I help my close friend with her Pug Sanctuary, BubbleBecca Pugs where we fundraise and go on rescue missions to help pugs in need. We also care for our 96-year-old next-door neighbor Jean, who has no family. She has become like family to us.
I’m also a freelance hair stylist, and some of the clients I've had since I was 15!
Do you follow the industry and the performers of today? Does anybody impress you?
I’m impressed with Steve Cruz, Nick Moretti, and Chi-Chi for their longevity in the business and passion for the industry. Also, Josh Moore’s success on OF is inspiring.
Would you ever consider a comeback?
Well, if you consider OnlyFans as a soft launch, haha, then very possibly bigger things are to come. I would love a comeback for Men At Play, if they’d have me of course!

I have spoken with Chi-Chi for her thoughts about returning to the industry. But what do you guys think?!…
