How you got your name:

It’s a triple entendre! My name is Robert, “RO-bert’(bair)” is French for Robert, and RoBEAR cause I’m kind of a bear.

When you started go-go dancing and what got you into it:

I started dancing in October 2021. I was seeing so many go-gos doing a really lazy job and I was like if that was me, I’d be doing so much more. So, I asked around and found a very good friend of mine now, Valentino, who I call my Go-Go Daddy because he led me to the promoter who first put me on the box.

I love pop and hip-hop music, and anything Britney is my favorite to dance to.

The Falcon North in Long Beach, Kub Kamp, Cachondo, Precinct in DTLA, Club Chub, Massive Pole, Megawoof America, The Copper Door in Santa Ana, and BEARLESQUE.

Favorite thing to wear while dancing:

None really.

Biggest pet peeve about working with other go-go boys:

While most are nice and welcoming, some can be very cold and dismissive.

What advice would you give to a new go-go dancer?

Pace yourself.

Favorite thing about being a go-go boy:

Not gonna lie, I kinda love the attention. I’ve also struggled with body image for a good part of my life and I love that I am confident enough now to go out and live my go-go fantasy without fear of judgment. It’s also very therapeutic and a great stress reliever. When I’m dancing there is nothing else to worry about but shaking my ass to great music.

What do you like to do when you’re not go-go dancing?

I’m an artist at heart so I’m usually creating something. I’ve been producing music and I even released an album, Mr_Robear - BOYS (Available on Spotify and iTunes, and Amazon). Follow @the_boys_album on Instagram. I also like to draw erotic art @merections on Instagram. I love to draw the male body up close and personal on a few of my favorite body parts.

What do you love about the city you live in?

It’s very clean. The city takes care of the streets very well. And there are trees everywhere.

Hobbies:

Cooking, hiking, karaoke, producing music, and graphic design. Is masturbating a hobby?
