This week, after RuPaul's Drag Race and its marquee Snatch Game episode, MTV introduced the world to The Real Friends of WeHo, and we've got a new crush in Curtis Hamilton. I must confess: I was really into the premiere episode. It's gay Real Housewives. It's shot like Housewives; it's cast like Housewives; it's very that.

The show is headlined by stylist Brad Goreski and the controversial Todrick Hall, and co-stars bubble butt hottie Jaymes Vaughan, entrepreneur Dorión Renaud, influencer Joey Zauzig (*eye roll*), and actor Curtis Hamilton. I was not familiar with Hamilton before the show's debut. But he's had quite the life/career leading up to this moment.

Born in Italy and raised in Kentucky, Curtis Hamilton came out of the closet to appear on the show. He told his family about his sexuality only weeks before filming began. Before reality TV, the 37-year-old actor starred as Dr. Dre in the award-winning film Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, & Michel'le. He also appeared on TV as Aric on HBO's Insecure and Kelvin on Oprah's The King's of Napa. Before acting, he set college football records and went on to the NFL, playing wide receiver (obvious gay joke) in 2008 for the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints. He could have been our first gay football hunk but Hollywood seems more his speed. Because this guy is movie-star handsome.
