Jordan Jayro’s Drag Race Season 15 Recap: Episode 4, Supersized Snatch Game

Oh my goodness, I hope you did your kegels today because I am BACK to discuss this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Best Friend Race! The time has come for Snatch Game! It’s safe to say Snatch Game is everyones’ favorite challenge. And this season, we’re getting two rounds! It’s only because there are so many queens still in the competition! And I can’t help but think this was strategic, seeing as the last few Snatch Games from the Drag Race franchise have been less than funny. It makes sense! More queens doing Snatch Game means more chances to get funny answers. And with the episodes being cut down to 45 minutes, are we even going to see everyone answer a question?! Let’s find out!

The queens were understandably shook to find that they were doing Snatch Game so early in the competition. Most seasons wait until the halfway point. And Snatch Game is the challenge that separates the front runners from the filler queens. There are no walkthroughs this episode, which was so weird to me!! I wanted to see RuPaul manipulate the girls into changing their characters last minute and then bombing anyway. Aw… anyway.

Group one is up!!! Marcia Marcia Marcia is Tim Gunn. So cute! Luxx Noir London is Amanda Lepore, the most expensive woman in the world. Malaysia Babydoll Foxx is Saucy Santana, continuing in the great tradition of queens thinking rappers are funny. Mistress Isabelle Brooks is Rosie O’Donnell! I have high hopes for her!! Anetra is Gordon Ramsey, but still a woman? I’m confused. Robin Fierce is Karen Huger from The Real Housewives of Potomac. That’s the only city I haven’t seen!! I’m a horrible gay! And Salina Estitties is the Virgin Mary. I’m obsessed!! Mistress Rosie O’Donnell was hilarious! But I feel like Robin Fierce is in danger girl!

Let’s talk about group two! Loosey LaDuca is Joan Rivers! I’m so excited for this! Sasha Colby is Jan Crouch (I’m obsessed with Jan Crouch so I can’t wait to see what she does). Jax is Mona Lisa. I hope she does that meme where she’s like “I look like the Mona Lisa, LOOK!” It gets me every time. Sugar is the iconic Trisha Paytas. I’m a Trisha stan so I hope this is good. Amethyst is the equally iconic Tan Mom! Spice is Miley Cyrus through the years. And finally, Aura Mayari is Bretman Rock. Pray for her. Loosey as Joan Rivers was amazing! Spice and Aura however should be ready to lip sync.

Let’s talk about the runway!!! This week’s category is Beautiful Nightmare. I wasn’t living for a lot of these. Malaysia’s purple showgirl look was clearly something she already owned and she just put a spooky face on. Anetra and Sasha Colby both slayed this runway. And I’m so sick and tired of the twins coordinating outfits. STOP. Aura did look really great this week though. Could her runway keep her from being in the bottom?!

Loosey LaDuca is a winner baby!!! I’m so happy she got her rudemption from the first challenge!! Mistress Isabelle Brooks was a very close second though! I would have loved if they shared the win! But I’m glad they both get to stay in the competition. As it turns out, Aura’s runway did keep her out of the bottom! Which means that Sugar and Spice are the bottom two this week. It’s the battle of the twins!! I know production is having a field day knowing they cast the siblings then immediately turned them against each other. I love reality TV!

The twins perform a lip sync to “You Better Run” by Pat Benetar. It felt like a choreographed dance watching the twins perform together. It was like their twin telepathy kicked in. Or they knew they’d probably have to lip sync and rehearsed it beforehand. Either way, Spice wins the lip sync and sadly, Sugar is sent home. I wonder if she’ll leave clothes for Spice. If my twin was on Drag Race with me, I’d expect to double my wardrobe if she goes home. That’s only fair, right??

That’s all for this week! It looks like next week’s challenge is a design challenge!! That I know will be interesting. I can’t wait to see which queens didn’t bother to take a sewing class before coming to Drag Race!! Come back next week to see what happens!
