Finally (?) we have another reality show about gay socialites in West Hollywood, MTV's The Real Friends of WeHo! I say "another" because let's not forget The Men of West Hollywood from Crackle. But this time is a bit different: there will be some bigger hitters, this show stars only gay men (RMOWH had three straights), and, since it's on MTV, it will also likely have a much higher production budget/value. The stars of the show are:
Brad Goreski -- Celebrity Stylist

Curtis Hamilton -- Actor

Dorión Renaud -- CEO of Buttah Skincare

In MTV's press release for the show, they describe it as an “unfiltered and honest look at a select group of friends living, loving and pursuing their passions in the West Hollywood community. Consisting of some of Hollywood’s most influential and successful LGBTQ+ celebrities, personalities and entrepreneurs.”
The show will no doubt have plenty of drama to play with, particularly because Todrick Hall has spent the better part of the last few years having to rebuild his reputation a bit, which he addresses in the trailer. Following Goreski saying, "It's hard being a public person and be a good example" Todrick says, "I think the word you're looking for is scandals; yeah, I've been involved in a few of those."
The new series will premiere in one hell of a cushy spot: immediately following the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race which has made the shift over to MTV. The series premiere is Friday, January 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think!
