Toon Tuesdays are fun, but I think we should try and remember that it is a pretty niche group that is into that stuff.
Do you get off seeing animated buff guys go at it? Good for you! I guess… But is that something you really want every potential hookup or date to know about you?
Grindr might not be the best place to share this, um, interest…
What really doesn’t work is making your Grindr profile into a spoof of your favorite animated character.
That is the subject of this week’s #GrindrFails.
I mean, pretending you are prince charming is cute and if the guy viewing this profile is especially naive they might believe you just want to put them on horse and take them back to your castle. But chances are they just you are trying way too hard and are probably a little creepy. Also, this guy is far from the hottest animated prince.
Yes, Eric is a favorite animated prince for a lot of us (this writer included), but if the person looking at profiles is serious they probably think you are hiding your real appearance for a reason.
Ok, you are really missing the mark if you choose an animated villain as your profile picture. Seriously, what guy would find this attractive? Would you want to go out with a guy who messaged you "Hot hat you have on there?" Who is the creepier one in this scenario?
Couples often advertise on Grindr, but would an animated couple be appealing? Nope! Especially an old creepy pirate and a short tubby guy in Birkenstocks.
Seriously, any serious guy looking for a hookup, a date, or a relationship would not go for a profile consisting of animated guys and if they are I don't think you want to meet with that guy...
