How did you get your drag name? I got my drag name in high school. My friends and I would call each other by the "girl version" of our names. My name is Joey, so my "girl name" was Joella.
How long have you been doing drag? 3 years.
When is your birthday? How old are you? November 16 and I'm 23 years old.

Relationship status? I'm single and looking!
What was your first time in drag like? A mess. I entered an 8 week competition and the whole time I didn't know what I was doing.
What made you want to start drag? I just love feminine beauty and I loved performing. Seeing those two things mixed into one made me want to start doing drag. I've been involved in music and stage performance like piano, singing, and theatre my whole life.
Who inspires your drag (celebrities, other queens, etc.)? Katy Perry

Favorite song/artist to lip sync to? Right now, I love "Maroon" by Taylor Swift.
Have you ever hooked up in drag? Yes. I identify as gender fluid so I don't know if I'd call it "in drag".
What’s your favorite thing about drag? Transformation, fantasy, and illusion.

What are your hobbies outside of drag? Outside of drag, I love to cook, eat, and smoke weed. I'm more laidback and relaxed than I am in drag.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed in a dressing room? A drag queen getting called out by another drag queen for faking cancer. I still don't know if the accusations were true or not, but it was insane. Another crazy story is a show producer walking in the bar after closing hours and throwing glasses and bottle all over the place because the owner refused to pay him.

Biggest pet peeve about working with other drag queens? I hate inconsiderate performers. Please make sure your space is kept together and your stuff isn't all over the place. We have limited space and you need to respect everyone.
Biggest pet peeve about audiences in nightclubs? When they don't tip or make any noise. I get it. But, it is irritating.

Any advice for someone wanting to start drag? Just do it. Be strong and don't take any bullshit. Be careful who you trust and worry about yourself. Steer clear of drama.
