Watch Judy Garland’s Best “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” for Her 100th Birthday

Gay Hollywood icon Judy Garland was born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 2022. Today would have been her 100th birthday. For most of us, Judy Garland is Dorothy Gale from 1939's The Wizard of Oz. Of course, her career continued onstage and on screen for 30 years after Oz, but for Judy there was no escaping "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". For her 100th birthday, we are celebrating by watching her most powerful, emotional rendition of her signature song, which she performed on The Christmas Edition of her weekly TV show The Judy Garland Show in 1963.
