Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy – A Look At Some of the Hottest Cowboys For Dallas Pride

Dallas Pride is this weekend (June 3-5) and Cybersocket is so excited to be there all weekend long. First, on Friday, we kick things off with Cocktails with the Stars at TMC with headliners Grayson Lange & Lawson James. Then Saturday, we'll host a booth at one of Texas' best and gayest events of the year along with Ride Lube. And if you stop by our booth on Saturday June 4th, you'll be able to do our meet-and-greet with pornstar Rocco Steele. And Sunday is Dicks and Drag at Cedar Springs Tap House.

But besides the Pride weekend, we know that Texas does two things right: meat and cowboys; Dallas in particular. So we figured we'd take a look at five of the hottest cowboys from film and TV and sports that we want to ride (plus a bonus GOAT tag-team we DEFINITELY love).

Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys QB

Since we're honoring Dallas Pride, we might a well start with an actual Dallas Cowboy, Dak Prescott. The quarterback from "America's Team" (as an Eagles fan I dispute this title) is ripped, sexy, and incredibly talented. At 6'2", he buff, inked up, and all around ridiculously sexy. Also... not for nothing, his nude leaked a few years back and you can just go ahead and insert an "I'll be your wide receiver" joke here, because WOOF.

Matt Damon - All the Pretty Horses

It was the turn of the Millennium. We had just survived Y2K, AIM was our main way to sext (Surf45 has entered the chat), and Matt Damon had yet to colonize Mars. But he was definitely quickly becoming one of Hollywood's hottest celebs, both in look and in relevance. And in that 2000th year of our Lord (lol.), starring alongside the ever-stunning Penelope Cruz in the Billy Bob Thornton-directed Western romance, Damon gave us serious cowboy trade and young Tommy fucking loved it!

Jonathan Majors - The Harder They Fall

Jonathan Majors made his big splash in Lovecraft Country, the 2020 time-jumping masterpiece where he played the son of the late, great, Queer icon Michael K. Williams. And in this critically acclaimed Netflix Western, Majors plays Nat Love, the boy-turned-man who is out for vengeance for his murdered parents. Majors, being the classically gorgeous man that he is, stole scenes and hearts and solidified himself as one of the sexiest men in Hollywood and is hands down one of my biggest celebrity crushes. Bae.

Viggo Mortensen - Appaloosa

In 2008, it had been 5 years since Viggo Mortensen won the hearts of the world as the King-to-be in the iconic Lord of the Rings series. Having gone on my own journey to find the perfect cock ring, let's just say that movie really spoke to me, ya know? But in 2008, we got to see Daddy Vigo as Everett Hitch (a cowboy name if ever there were one) opposite another stud for the ages, Ed Harris, in Appaloosa. Viggo looked as hot as I could imagine. He at once is gritty hot, and also swoon-worthy handsome. If I ever open a bar with Viggo it's going to be called the Swoon Saloon, and it will be a gay, naked, cowboy bar. Details coming soon. Brad Pitt - Thelma & Louise

Brad Pitt could actually be showcased as a Cowboy a few times over (Legends of the Fall, Assassination of Jesse James), but a fun fact people sometimes forget is that he had his first major role in 1991's Thelma and Louise, playing J.D, the sexy, young, wanderer who Geena Davis' Thelma falls in love with. What was a small part in a movie quickly impressed audience-goers everywhere, and as you can see from the picture, Brad was in PEAK physique. And since he wears a cowboy hat in the movie, goddammit I'm including it in this list.

Tag-team Bonus: Robert Redford & Paul Newman - Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid

Finally, two of the all-time sexy Hollywood icons who played bank-robbing cowboys during their peak hotness. in 1969, Paul Newman and Robert Redford played Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in the movie based on the eponymous duo. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid won 4 Academy Awards and was nominated for Best Picture. And just for good measure, here's the two of them playing pingpong shirtless on a break while filming the movie. I'd have happily bounced between the two of them.
