Meet the 12 Hot Go-Go Boys Competing in the New OutTV Reality Show Go-Go For the Gold

As reality TV has evolved over the years, one format has taken a stronger and stronger hold: the competition show. The competition reality show has tackled almost every industry you can imagine. The fashion industry has Project Runway, the culinary world has Top Chef, the baking world has The Great British Bake Off, and, of course, drag and gay culture have RuPaul’s Drag Race… the list is massive and the competition for viewers has grown strong within each industry. But there are a few industries that still need to be tapped. This Friday… one such industry is about to be tapped: Go-Go Boys.

On Friday, May 13th OutTV premieres their new competition show featuring 12 of the hottest go-go boys in the industry. The show will be hosted by Johnny McGovern, the comedian/singer who is also the founder of the wildly popular “HeyKweenTV.” The show features a diverse group of dancers with a diverse group of body types, and a diverse group of gender identities—although all are male-presenting.

To win, the dancers must tackle a series of challenges that bring in an array of aspects to what makes a great go-go dancer. We obviously want to see their dance moves, but when you compete at a level like this, there is a lot more to their brand than just their moves. Every week, at least one go-go boy gets eliminated until the final week when they crown their champion.

The show will also feature "TV's sexiest judging panel" in the form of four judges called the Go-Go Gods. Each judge scores based on four criteria: Fantasy, Body, Dance, and Individuality, although each judge is a "God" of one point of expertise (think Queer Eye). The four Go-Go Gods are:
