Next Door Studios Exclusive model Dakota Payne released his first music single, “S.A.D.” (Suck A Dick), which features fellow Cybersocket Awards nominee Michael Boston and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 contestant Honey Davenport.
“I really wanted to make a song that’s a hypersexual anthem and this whole process was a great way to show the skill set of sex workers beyond being in front of the camera,” says Dakota. “One of my favorite things about this whole process has been bringing in my close friends to collaborate with me like Michael Boston, Honey Davenport, Indigo Dai and MEATY PANDA. Everyone involved with ‘S.A.D.’ is delightfully queer, and diverse, and pro sex—that’s a big thing for me. The people who are close to me in my life are very sex positive.”
The single is his first project under his new creative company, House of Payne, which encompasses his work as a stylist and costume designer—including for RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Yvie Oddly, Eureka O’Hara, Scarlet Envy and others—as well as his work as a dancer.
“So many of the people I know have passion projects that we never get to and the stars aligned for me to create ‘S.A.D.’ with music producer Trent Park,” says Dakota.
“It’s so fun to work with a new artist. They have no inhibitions or data reference of their previous musical work," says Trent. "It was very refreshing and unique to collaborate on bringing Dakota’s vision to life.”
Dakota hosted a private song release party at Rocco’s WeHo, playing the song at 9PM PST—the exact moment it was available for download as it was released at midnight EST. The circus themed party greeted guests with clown hats and noses and later in the night, balloon dicks were brought out with Dakota showing guests first-hand how he likes to S.A.D. Party guests included porn stars Trenton Ducati, Michael Boston, Reign, Adrian Hart, Taylor Reign, Johnny Ford and Matthew Figata.
Check out the party gallery below and watch Dakota’s "Cybersocket Live Q&A" interview with Alexander, where he dishes his tips on sucking dick, answers questions from fans and dives deeper into his new company, House of Payne.
“S.A.D.” is available for download on all major music distributors including Spotify and Apple Music. Have a listen as you scroll through party pics.
