An Underwear Fashion Show, Beer Pong with Porn Stars, Bears, & Bulges: A Look Inside IBC’s Redemption Pool Party in Palm Springs

You would think after a weekend of fun and debauchery, the bears would have been beat by Sunday, but no, quite the reverse. On Sunday, February 27, Cybersocket & KGay, Palm Springs favorite gay radio station, took over IBC's Palm Springs Redemption in Paradise Pool Party at Hotel Zoso. The International Bear Convergence (IBC) is the premier winter event for Bears hosted annually in Palm Springs, California. The famed four-day event welcomes thousands of frisky Bears, Muscle Bears, Cubs, Chubs, Chasers, and Admirers from all over the globe to party all weekend with DJs, pool parties, dance parties, drag shows, speed dating, and more. Take a look inside the grand finale pool party of IBC.

First off, the guys were there to have fun. When I turned on my Scruff at Hotel Zoso, my entire Nearby feed was less than 400 feet away. The pool party was packed by 10 AM. Hairy men, most with bellies and beards, wearing speedos and walking around the hotel pool. The atmosphere was celebratory and cruisy, which is the perfect combo for a daytime pool party. KGay's DJ Galaxy was spinning gay anthems that had even the most masc bears there dancing and lip syncing along. Perched high above the crowd, DJ Galaxy made sure we were all KGay converts by day's end.

Three big things that made this pool party extra special were an appearance and photo opp with OnlyFans fave and Bear with Us, Gurrl podcast host Teddy Bear, an impromptu underwear fashion show sponsored by Palm Springs' local go-to store GayMart USA, and beer pong!

Teddy Bear, with his gorgeous fur and muscle bod, had the whole party staring. Over in our Cybersocket Bear Cave, Teddy posed with fans, and then mingled around the pool. The way guys were reacting, Teddy definitely got some new subscribers that day.

Cybersocket also got the party rowdy with a jump-in game of beer pong. Pitchers of beer spread out over rounds and rounds of games with guys just jumping in and out to throw shots. Guys would hop out of the pool, throw a pong ball, hop back in, then make out with the guy next to him. It was a whole moment.

Then, possibly the highlight of the day, was the poolside underwear fashion show. Sponsored by GayMart USA, Palm Springs' go-to store for clothes, underwear, swimsuits, lube, and...VCR cleaner. GayMart also carries big bear sizes, with their ES Collection of swimsuits and underwear going up to 5XL. Gaymart provided sexy underwear for five unsuspecting guys to model (and then own). We went around the party to recruit the models from the crowd, and introduced each one to the screaming throng of guys. Each of the guys had so much fun, dancing to cheers and whistles, and showing off their new sexy undies.

Inside the Zoso, the lobby was decked out with IBC swag and merch, as well as cool bear-centric vendors and artists.
