Dicks of Dune, From Chalamet to Momoa

Last week, Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” was the top film at the US box office. This is an epic science fiction story of a young man’s journey to a distant planet to save his people. It was a sweeping entertainment with great performances, music, and visual effects. But we really only care about one part of this epic: there are some really hot guys in it!

Let’s have a look at some of the Dudes of Dune:

Timothée Chalamet

Chalamet plays the heroic character of Paul Atreides, who sets out to bring peace to his home planet of Arrakis. Twink turned leading man Chalamet has been on our Gaydar since his Oscar-nominated performance as a young gay man in “Call Me by Your Name.” That chiseled jawline and beyond blue eyes definitely make us want to help this guy save the planet.

Josh Brolin

In “Dune”, Josh Brolin plays one of Paul’s mentors who teaches the young soldier the art of fencing. We’ve admired Brolin and his broad shoulders since he was the hunky older brother in “The Goonies.” Then we hated him as a closeted politician opposite Sean Penn in “Milk.” Love him or hate him, we always think this guy is nice to look at. If nothing else, he’s Barbra Streisand’s son-in-law.

Oscar Isaac

The hunky star of “Ex Machina”, “X-Men:Apocalypse”, and “Star Wars” is quite at home in an epic sci-fi film. And here in “Dune”, Isaac is truly zaddy, playing Duke Leto Atreides, the father of Chalamet's Paul. If you want to see Oscar Isaac naked, check out HBO's miniseries “Scenes from a Marriage”.

Javier Bardem

We lust for Latin lovers. We lust for bad boys. With Oscar-winner Javier Bardem, we get a two-in-one. In “Dune”, Bardem has only a small role as the leader of the Fremen. But the role is enough to remind us what a hottie he still is.

Jason Momoa

That body. Nothing else matters. Just Jason Momoa’s big arms, chest, and legs. And he is so great at showing them off for the camera. He might as well be a gay porn star. 

Kyle MacLachlan

Kyle MacLachlan was the hero in the original movie version of “Dune” from the 1980s. In that movie, he wore one of the gayest costumes in movie history. Since then, he filled a lot of our fantasies in movies like “Blue Velvet” and “Showgirls”. He just seems so good at playing good-looking crooks that we wouldn’t mind being crooked with.
