Pete Buttigieg Entered For Emmy Consideration!

If you guys thought that my lull in piping hot Pete Buttigieg content here at Fleshbot meant that I was off my bullshit, you were sadly misinformed. Wishful thinking on your part. Pete and I will be together one day and it's important for the sake of our marriage that I keep tabs on him, much like how a crazy person would. It's called being in a loving and committed fake relationship. Look it up sometime.

Anyway you might remember that shortly after the pandemic began, and shortly after he bowed out of the 2020 democratic presidential race, ma boo-ttigieg exercised his comedic chops as a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Throughout his monologue, interviews, and skits, Buttigieg mitigated a polarizing presidential race and the uncertainty of a new disease with surprising ease. I thought he was comforting without being pandering, and he certainly tickled my funnybone. Or was it my funnyboner. Or my penis. Something like that.

Now Pete Buttigieg is being recognized for his guest host spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with an Emmy consideration! This does not mean that he has secured a nomination, but it does mean that he will be going against big names in entertainment to secure a nomination. Here's the hot tea from Gold Derby:

Buttigieg has been entered for Emmy consideration as a comedy guest actor. Variety show performers compete in comedy categories at the Emmys ever since the television academy got rid of its category reserved for variety performers. And Buttigieg is not the only one. Oscar winner Brie Larson has also been entered for Emmy consideration as a guest host on the show. And the late, great Fred Willard is competing directly against Buttigieg for appearing on “Kimmel” in a comedy sketch as the CEO of a company that produces a drug called “Big Penis.”

The thirty-eight-year-old Pete Buttigieg has quite a bit going on these days in addition to his Emmy consideration. He announces his next book, titled Trust: America's Best Chance, became a faculty fellow at Notre Dame, signed with CAA to help continue his political messaging, andddddddd got fake engaged to me.
