Cockyboys Fires Ben Masters, and Other Things That Happened Yesterday In Gay Porn Twitter.

PORNSTARS

Ben Masters was the most vocal but wasn't the only one; Porn stars Papi Suave, Billy Santoro, and Austin Wolf basically told on themselves yesterday in the twittersphere.

I know 2020 is the first year in a new decade (unless you're one of those people that thinks the decade starts next year), but we're only five months into the year, and it feels like a decade of things have happened.

It seems like June 1, 2020 was but a year in the decade of 2020 with all the things that happened in gay porn twitter.

I don't watch TV, so porn stars are like my celebrities. I watch twitter and Instagram so you don't have to.

Now I'm sure the political unrest, coupled with Coronavirus have magnified some things, and if we had one without the other, we probably wouldn't see as much unrest as we've seen, but let's get started.

So Ben Masters posted a video, where he basically says he won't support #BlackLivesMatter because a black man called him the F-word once.

He also said some other things, equating his minority status as a gay male as equal or worse to that of being Black. Which, as a gay male who happens to be Black, I say bullshit (and I can't even speak to the discrimination that Black trans individuals receive). He took the video down, but nothing on the internet is forgotten. Bless Brock Banks, for he was doing a lot yesterday.

After enough backlash, Cockyboys SMOOVE ON terminated his contract.

We know gay porn doesn't have the best track record when it comes to stuff like this, but we applaud Cockyboys for doing the right thing in the moment. They also caught heat for not doing enough scenes with minorities - they haven't addressed that but we'll see if they do.

Ben did issue some apology tweets, but as pop sensation Jojo reminded us back in 2005, "it's just a little too late".

OK. Moving on. Billy Santoro.

Billy Santoro has been openly racist for a while now. If you weren't sure, he posted this yesterday on Facebook:

(He moved to Australia last year, which is why he talks of America in the third person.)

There was also this!

When Subscription site Just For Fans got wind, they deleted his account. They don't reference him directly, but this tweet is assuredly about him; his link on the site no longer exists.

His twitter has also been deleted, I think.

OK Moving on. Papi Suave.

Now this one is a little more confusing and involved.

The other Day, Latino porn star Papi Suave did a rant blaming Twitter. He's condemning the platform for letting racism occur, but censoring Blacks, and claims that Black humor made the platform successful.

But he did it completely naked??????????????????????????????

I know Twitter is weird, and the gays are weird. And unless you have visual content it's hard to get your message heard. BUT COME ON.

So after that rant, many people went on twitter and found Papi's tweets from 2018, where he defended his right to say the n-word:

But they also found Porn Star Max Konnor, who is Black, gay, and friends with Papi, defending it:

Neither of these two have been cancelled yet. Max almost certainly won't due to his connections, but we'll see if Pai does - my guess is no, considering how many of his tweets lately are calling out racism. But we'll see.

Ok, moving on. Austin Wolf.

Yesterday, Austin Wolff made a whole Instagram post about how America is about Freedom and all that. Someone called him out in the comments, and he told that person to leave America if they didn't like it:

And then he did another IGTV video, all but apologizing for it:

He even called out Hugh Hunter, which is odd; Hugh engaged Race Cooper on my twitter timeline and there's actually been a lengthy discussion about the N-word and its effect from a generational standpoint there.

I can see the sentiment of "if you don't have a good time here, then leave" but it's not that easy in America, and telling someone that was born here to leave instead of wanting to fix the problems that make them want to leave is tone deaf at best.

It's also interesting considering one of his most recent JustForFans scenes featured a Black trans performer. He caught a lot of backlash for it (just like people on here comment negatively about sites like Jockpussy), and he called it out, rightfully so. But they DO say work is work, and having sex with Black people doesn't excuse you of racism.

But I digress. As I said, if the past few days weren't enough, yesterday was a DAY. And that was just in gay porn. A day. You probably do have an opinion on police brutality and the opinions of the porn stars you like to watch.

And quite frankly if you pop off in the comments on this, I'll probably just block you.

It can be to divorce the person from the art, especially in the time of social media. But at least now you know where they stand.
