Taron Egerton Has Gay Sex In The Name Of Art

Taron Egerton isn't gay (disregard that Instagram post, I guess). As difficult as that is to get over, he's still willing to play gay characters who partake in gay sex in really gay films - and that's a-ok in my book!

Egerton, 29, stars in the upcoming biopic Rocketman, in which he portrays legendary singer Elton John. As part of the project, the actor says he "threw" himself into his first ever gay sex scene.

Obviously, in most sex scenes there are at least two people. So, who is Egerton's partner in the scene? None other than Bodyguard and Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden, who plays John Reid, Elton John's former boyfriend and manager.

Egerton to MTV about the scene: "I really threw myself into it, I filmed my first sex scene for this film and it’s with quite a well-known man. I do feel the movie we shot is absolutely a celebration of everything that Elton John is and part of that is his sexuality."

"I actually think the gay community will be quite surprised by quite how gay it feels. I loved every second of it," he added. "I’m not someone who is remotely perturbed by male intimacy and I am quite proud of what we’ve done with it. We really went some places with it."
