Shawn Mendes has been pushing his self-titled album for a little while now. Although we're in love with it, there's been something missing. Finally, the "In My Blood" singer released a clip for one of the album's best songs, "Lost In Japan."
Shortly after, he also posted a behind-the-scenes video of him making it, in which we get to see him strip down for a steamy shower.
Although it's not the type of steamy shower scene we're used to, we'll take it. I mean, it's Shawn Fucking Mendes.
The video features the original edit of "Lost In Japan," and ends with a remix version of it by Zedd. It recreates scenes from the movie Lost in Translation and shows Shawn going to a Japanese hotel, doing all sorts of random stuff, sleeping in bed, and – thank the gay gods – getting into a very hot shower.
The behind-the-scenes video includes an extended version of the shower scene, where Shawn explains that he "always wondered how shower shots happen." Well, I'm glad he got to find out, and I'm equally glad we all got to tag along.
