Last month the rumor mill began spinning in regards to singer Jason Mraz and his sexuality. In a poem for Billboard's Pride Series, he wrote a few lines that got us all wondering. To end his poem, Mraz wrote: "We still have a long way to go. / But know I am bi your side." Some said it was a typo, others said it was his subtle way of telling us he's bisexual. Honestly, can we really blame anyone for hoping this cutie was just looking for a way to come out?
After weeks of wondering what the hell he was trying to say (or not say) with his words, Mraz has finally opened up about what it all means.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Mraz decided to be a little more clear on his sexuality. Just a little, though.
He told the publication: "Honestly, I didn't realize it was going to be so telling. But I’ve had experiences with men, even while I was dating the woman who became my wife. It was like, ‘Wow, does that mean I am gay?’ And my wife laid it out for me. She calls it ‘two spirit,’ which is what the Native Americans call someone who can love both man and woman. I really like that."
Mraz, who has been married to his wife Christina Carano for three years, has hinted at his 'two-spirit' sexuality in the past. In 2005 he told Genre Magazine: "I have a bisexually open mind, but I have never been in a sexual relationship with a man. If the right one came along, then sure."

Kudos to Jason Mraz for finding such a supportive partner to help him figure out what/who he is on such a deep level. While it's exciting/scary to finally know your own truth sometimes, having someone there to support you no matter what is the most important thing.
