Ok, so fuck the whole Yanny/Laurel debate, we have a much more important situation on our hands. This time it's decoding a line in a poem. Sounds simple enough, yeah?
Singer Jason Mraz (yes, I know, I haven't heard from him in a while either) recently wrote a poem for Billboard's Pride Series that has us all scratching our heads. In the last few lines, Mraz writes "We still have a long way to go. / But know I am bi your side." Say what? Was it a typo, wordplay, or did he just reveal his sexuality to us through a fucking poem?!
Fans responded in kind:

This isn't Mraz's fist time talking about his sexuality. In 2005, he said in an interview that he was "bisexually open-minded." In a 2010 chat with Pride Source, he made a wink-wink comment that experimenting with his sexuality made him realize he’s "not really into facial hair."
Am I surprised? I don't know yet tbh. I'm all for being your true self, though, so I support him and his sexual preferences no matter what. I take bigger issue with those ugly ass hats he wears.

Love Poem to the LGBTQ Community
Dear You,
Thank you.
You have inspired me.
Re-wired me.
You showed me what strength is.
You demonstrated courage over and over again.
You risked so much for love.
You never compromised your expression
Even when
Your rights and freedoms were being compromised.
You stood up for me.
You stood up for the world.
And now the world is better because of you.
We still have a long way to go
But know
I am bi your side.
All ways.
Jason Mraz
