As if he didn't give us enough hot scenes to drool over in Teen Wolf - not that I'd be against seeing more of that - Tyler Posey is about to take on a new role of a different persuasion for a new Starz series Now Apocalypse (not to be confused with Apocalypse Now). Even better, he'll be playing the boyfriend of fellow heartthrob Avan Jogia.
Posey is slated to play Gabriel, "an incredibly charismatic and mysterious guy." Sounds legit. Jogia will play Ulysses. The couple will match on a dating app in L.A., but Ulysses will grow "increasingly troubled as foreboding premonitory dreams make him wonder if some kind of dark and monstrous conspiracy is going on." Again, for anyone who has tried using dating apps (basically any gay man), this is all sounding pretty accurate so far.
Maybe that's what Tyler's little Grindr phase from a few years back was all about. It was just research.
No word on what the theme of the show, which is the product of Gregg Araki, who is best known for 2004's Mysterious Skin in which Joseph Gordon Levitt played an abused sex worker, will be. But no matter what he's got planned, I'm betting there will be some pretty steamy scenes with these two hotties.
Oh, and while we wait to see what Tyler and Avan have in store for us, let's enjoy this flashback to Tyler's perfect penis vid.
