Ryan Reynolds Proposed To A Dude

Someone needs to alert Blake Lively because Ryan Reynolds may be planning another wedding soon. Well, he would be if the guy he asked to marry him hadn't blown the whole thing.

At a red carpet event for Deadpool 2, reporter Max Scoville from IGN told the actor: "I’ve been a Deadpool fan since I was a little kid. Here’s my fifth-grade English book report."

Then he handed the actual report to Reynolds, adding: "Can you take a look at that? I got a B- on that."

"You did a fifth-grade book report on Deadpool," Reynolds replied. "This is amazing."

Scoville replied: "No man. Your movies are amazing. You did the thing that I’d wanted to see since I was 10."

Reynolds, still in shock over the report, reiterated: "Max, you did a book report on Deadpool in the fifth grade.” Then he asked the question SO many of us have only dreamed of hearing from him: "Will you marry me?"

Oh, my heart. So of course Max accepted the request and they lived happily ever, right? Nope. He blew it. He was this close to having a the world's most perfect husband.

“I think I’m spoken for,” Max replied. *face palm*

Oh Max. Wrong answer, buddy.

Yesterday I was supposed to interview @VancityReynolds about #Deadpool2, but instead I just fanboyed out and showed him the Deadpool book report I wrote when I was 10.

In hindsight, I probably should've accepted his marriage proposal.😳

Max’s coworker then told Reynolds that Max is engaged, to which the actor quickly fired back: "Great — we’ll move to a state that allows it."

Deadpool 2 is being praised as the queerest superhero film yet. It features a female same-sex couple, and Deadpool himself identifies as pansexual.
