Man fans and stans have been comparing Sam Smith's latest promo art cover to a very dirty act that we've all either been on the giving or receiving end at one point or another (some of us have even done both simultaneously). The cover art is for a remixed version of his song 'Pray' from his 'Thrill of It All' album. Hmm... well both deeds are done on your knees, so I guess these speculations aren't completely ridiculous, right?
Sam may not be giving a long, slow, deep blow job on the cover, but at first glance you can definitely see where everyone's coming from.
Those are actually Sam's arms you're looking at - not some dude who's just dropped trou and is ready for the time of his life. Still, someone had to have seen what we're seeing at some point down the line. I mean this cover art went through an entire team of people who gave it the stamp of approval and no one noticed anything? Doubtful.
Many believe the singer knew what he was doing with the cover, which wouldn't surprise me in the least.
"I thought the same thing when I saw it. Really got my hopes up," one said on Reddit. Another said: "Sam Smith knows the implications there."
Sam hasn't responded to the numerous tweets and posts about the artwork, but instead expressed his excitement for the remix.
Honoured to have @Logic301 join me on PRAY. I’m such a fan of his work & his inspiring lyrics. Thank you logic for blessing the track xxhttps://t.co/m8xpKAiaG8 pic.twitter.com/8cW72b33RV

Looks like you had a great time, Sam. No doubt about that...
