Matthias Hermann's work crosses the boundaries of fetish, sex and the relationship between artist and subject—because in most projects, he is both photographer and model, and often writes commentary or deconstructs his photography. Some of his work is similar to Andres Serrano, and other times, we see a less-intense Rick Castro. In other words, his art is perfect for subversion and perversion. -RM
