DVD: “AMG Hardcore Film Classics”

It must be that time of year when media outlets everywhere do their spring/summer cleaning and discover hidden treasures lurking in their vaults: last week, Motown issued a collection of previously unreleased standards by Diana Ross, and now we hear that the Athletic Model Guild will follow suit with its own blast(s) from the past in the form of hardcore scenes that were filmed by the legendary Bob Mizer (who supposedly "never" filmed any hardcore scenes). Expect "AMG Hardcore Film Classics" to be the first of many such releases; judging from the generous trailer featuring a nice helping of ripped young hustlers with bad haircuts (along with, alas, the obligatory Super 8 projector sound effects and ugly 70s-inspired font), it looks like we're in for quite a treat.
