Duane Cramer is a talented San Francisco-based photographer whose sensual and evocative style is often compared to Herb Ritts or a young Richard Avedon. He established a name for himself by photographing a veritable who's who of gay black America including RuPaul, Keith Boykin, and much of the "Noah's Arc" cast. However, diversity has always been a hallmark of Cramer's editorial, fashion and nude portfolios and his subjects cross both racial and generational lines. "Elegant" is a new touring exhibit of his work which opened last week in Chicago and will travel to San Diego, Seattle, Washington, and Miami before returning to San Francisco. More previews after the gap.
