DVD: “Holier Than Thou”

It's more than a little difficult to avoid the recent headlines about gays and the church, from the approaching schism is the Anglican Communion to the tabloid headlines involving a gay Catholic priest who embezzled and shopped his way from South Beach to the south of France. Adonis Pictures, a studio that promises "only the hottest guys", has decided to jump on the liturgical bandwagon with a new flick about ... well, only the hottest priests. Justin Wells and Eddie Stone star as men of the cloth who are hot under the collar and torn between their love for the church and their love for their fellow man. Guess how they choose? Here's the summary from the marketing geniuses at Adonis: "So kneel down. Open your mouth to receive your sacrament. And beg for forgiveness."
