Logan: “Homophobic Rednecks’ Dicks”

On the one hand, master French erotic comic artist Logan's first work for the fondly remembered Euro hardcore smut journal Projet X is a stark and searing indictment of the internal conflicts manifested by certain members of the American rural working class trying to come to grips with a type of transgressive sexuality which fascinates and alienates them at the same time; despite the loose drawing style and lack of dialogue, it speaks of universal themes of desire, revenge, and redemption. On the other hand, it's just really fucking hot. We wouldn't want to be accused of overanalyzing things too much, you know.
