Johnny Hazzard Sings!

When we first heard that yet another gay porn star decided to try their luck at singing a singing career we weren't impressed (see: Jeff Stryker). But after we downloaded Johnny Hazzard's single "Deeper Into You" from iTunes, we had to admit it was pretty darn good. Ironically, Johnny was discovered after lip syncing to Toronto singer Sherrie Lea's hit "Spellbound": the videotaped performance made its way onto YouTube where it's been viewed more than 100,000 times in the last four months and got the attention of songwriter James Collins, who then contacted Hazzard about recording his own dance single. Uberdirectrix and DJ Chi Chi LaRue, who launched Hazzard's porn career, has been playing "Deeper Into You" regularly in clubs and this week the two collaborated to film the music video for the single.
