MTV’s “Alex” is “Going Under”

It shouldn't come as a surprise that blogs keep turning up instances of mainstream TV reality show stars who've done porn at some point in their careers; given the relatively limited number of ways an aspiring young actor can make his way in the entertainment industry, is there really that much of a difference between appearing in a cheesy TV show and appearing in a cheesy gay porn video? Gay Skin Index reports that "Alex" on MTV's "Exposed" (which we've never watched) is the very same "Derek Cruz" who appeared in Jet Set's 2005 hypnosex-flavored feature "Going Under" (which we've never seen either). As we're unfamiliar with both of his vehicles, it's not the most scandalous of discoveries. But it should make those reruns a little more interesting should we happen to catch his MTV star turn while channel surfing one of these days.
