If Gio Spano has an uncanny knack for making his models look like porn stars ... well, it's because many of his models are porn stars; based in Fort Lauderdale, he's has worked in the entertainment industry for two decades as a producer and casting director but has mostly made a name for himself taking pictures of hot semi-naked guys for publications including the Advocate, Village Voice, Men, and Frontiers. Perfect as though most of his specimens are, however, he also manages to let individual personalities shine through in all of his pictures—which means as famous as many of his models are, he also has the uncanny knack of making them not look like just porn stars. How's that for talent?
